That's cool man ... a friend of mine actually grew up in Brazil and trained with Rickson... his name is Alberto and he teaches in LA ... Alberto is a BEAST and he's also big at 250 pounds with solid technique... He told me straight up you cant mess with Ricksons technique... he's a machine... he's just so mentally strong and so precise with his movements... jujitsu is a beautiful thing man... LOVE IT... I've been doing it off and on since the early 90's and I cant imagine my life without it

His GREAT grandfather was "Scottish". George Gracie immigrated to Brazil in 1810. So Gastao would most likely be 1/2 Scottish. Helio would then be 1/4 Scottish. And Rickson would be 1/8 Scottish. (If they all had purely Brazilian/Portuguese wifes.)
