No, it's hard to focus because it's all being done manually. Plenty of people utilize low apertures to get a nice bokeh effect while filming videos. It's not hard to maintain focus with a low f number.

I think you know that canon t2i have multiplier of 1.6 which make you 30mm to 48 which is the normal human eye see no wide angle but still it will give you amazing different nice done(the vlog in general )

Sigma is a good lens but the two best are Canon of course and the Tamron lenses, Tamrons have a 6 year warranty on them, hadn't thought about going all the way down to a 30mm i got the 50mm 1.9 MKII and it does a really good job I do like the video you shot with that 30MM really sharp not too contrasty VERY NICE and i wasn't really as impressed with the 60D as i am with the T2i before this but it did do a really good job nice one folks!!!

When i use my interface it comes out with a tone ideal for bass but even with effects on an electric it comes out really low-endy unusable sound (That also goes for after effects or "inserts" on cubase)
