1)why do you use the ipod. are you using it for the backtrack?

2) if yes do you connect it to the synth as a usb, or directly to the headphones?

3)if you connect it directly to headphones, how do you make the headphones get the sound from synth and ipod in the same time.

@ntais7 you can connect the device using an imput.... (like the one for the Mic), and record all toghether directly to USB memory stick or any computer software

I think the Ipod is for the backing track which is probably connect to the keyboard through an input jack. You can hear both the keyboard and the backing track trhough headphones or speakers.

I would say the S90XS hands down, if you don't mind it being a bit heavier. You get TONNES more sounds, and in my eyes, a better piano sound.

I have owned both pianos.

the rd700gx has a gorgeous keybed so is a better feeling piano and the top piano sounds are superior to s90xs.. so if you want solely a piano its better (though google "key wear issue").

HOWEVER the s70/90xs are way more flexible, and have the full motif xs soundset...
