You don't realize what an opportunity he has that RAscal Flatts took an interest in him. He co-wrote this song with one of them and it is amazing. He has a nice country style voice in the modern country sense. You are probably thinking of traditional country..there are some power belters in country today..Maybe you should give some of them a listen before you judge. Wow Phil surprises me with this. Huge AI fan but never was a fan of season 6, completely ignored the runs, but I gotta say this has potential. Phil should prove that even a non-winner can be successful. I hope he joins the ranks of Daughtry, Clay Aiken and Elliott Yamin for Idol non-winners who still have awesome post-Idol career.
