  • Is it heavy?

  • how much would it cost to buy a 3d printer with materials for a standard rubik's cube

  • Have u ever don a speed solve on it and if so how long did it take

  • not fun

  • Imagine that that thing pops ;p

  • @RandomYouriVlogs Little chance. This puzzle does not pop. It is too stable for that. It can be damaged by not carefull operation, though ...

  • WHY THE HELL DO YOU USE A 3D PRINTER? If you want people to really enjoy your products, and arent just a mooch like the rest of the world, invest in a company who casts plastic, or a machine that does it for you. Since you have money to buy a damn 3D printer and the materials for it... im sure you could find a better way to produce these. C'mon...

  • @justclimb77 Please remain polite. I appreciate that you wish to buy this puzzle, and I am sorry that your budget currently does not allow it. At this moment, I do not have the desire to start a company, nor do I see a positive business case for mass-producing this puzzle. Please get back to me, once you have rounded up 5000 people who would commit paying $150 for a mass-produced DIY-kit of this puzzle.

  • @OskarPuzzle how long did it take for the original assembly of all the pieces?

  • @MCMasterChef A full weekend.

  • this would be impossible to lube

  • i love your vids! and the way you talk!

  • Alot of screwing!

  • Who is the camera man? always wanted to know (:

  • @darts421 My lovely wife, who is also web master of my home page.

  • @OskarPuzzle Oh sorry for the gender miscomprehension.

  • @darts421 *Camera Woman!

  • Seriously why does it cost that much?

  • @FPSZb Because it is not a mass-produced puzzle.

  • I have a question, do you really think someone is going to buy this $1,599.72??

  • @yodudeguyyo Several true fans have already bought one. However, most of my YouTube fans consider this one beyond their budget :-)

  • @OskarPuzzle ohhh ok thanks for the reply :)

  • @OskarPuzzle When i get a job, i'm gonna save for a year to get this! it's AWESOME!

  • at 5:10 kinda funny

  • I got such a terrible feeling from watching this... It's weird, a feeling of loss as it got further and further from reparable.

On a more serious note than my fellow viewers, is it possible to put back together? It doesn't look possible by human hands at the very least...

  • Can you make a video where you lube all the pieces and put i back together?

  • Have fun putting it back together lol

  • It's a plastic wiffle ball!

  • i wouldnt wanna mix this up let alone dissassemble it!

  • You really enjoy doing this, dont you?

  • @iOsOYrOi Yeah!

  • @OskarPuzzle lol i was joking, you have to be the most innovative puzzle creator on youtube, if not the world. Most of the puzzles you make look simple, then you get to scrambling it, and my jaw drops. Please, keep making puzzles forever. I feel a certain need to see new innovative puzzles, and you do exactly that.

  • @justkidin123 Thank you for the compliment.

  • the pieces look like carrots

  • hahahhahahah thsta what she said

  • Why you didnt colour the corners and black sides?

  • @iNTERS22 Because he was dying each piece rather than placing stickers, and he could not dye the edges in different colours.

  • also, Man, how did you figure out the exact shape, arrangement, and other components of the puzzle? It must have taken you ages!

  • @HaloStrategist Ages to design (14 rounds of design) and building (3 rounds of prototyping)

  • At 2:00 I was reminded of a dentist placing pulled molars in a bowl.... :(

  • Why are the center pieces colored but not the edges??

  • lol i put on captions on at 3:08 when he said i should have taken a spoon to spoon them out the caption said but she just taken a spoon spoon of drugs

  • As I was watching this video I was thinking, "Wow, this thing is definitely worth $200." Then I saw it costs $1,500. Really? It's a puzzle. And while it is 17x17x17, that's really not enough to charge $1,500 for. That's about $100 for one row of the puzzle. While I get that it's expensive to have it made and a lot of work to put it together, in the end it's a hunk of plastic priced at $1,500. And to be honest, it doesn't look good, or turn well. It's not worth it.

  • @007monkeyman2 Well, in case you didn't know it. It gets increasingly harder and harder to put the cube together as the number of rows increases. It makes sense that it costs so much. Whether it is worth it or not, is anouther question.

  • @007monkeyman2 Thank you for your well motivated decision not to buy my puzzle :-)

  • 4:53-4:56 lmao

  • Why should i pay 1,6k $ for a cube ?? tell me please :D

  • which program did you used to draw that thing

  • What $1500 for the cube how do you afford all these custom make puzzles

  • oh it horrifying

  • id like to order 4 of theses. how can i pay you? @OskarPuzzle.

  • @MattBrodure Please contact me privately on this order.

  • 1500$ if buy it if i could solve it

  • @DavidBernard123 if you can solve a 5x5 you can solve this any odd numbered layered cube.

  • 4:52 thats what she said

  • @ThamosProductions i was about to make a comment about that and you beat me i hate you now

  • it looks like a rubik's cube for giants with gentle hands

  • why did you get so exhausted unscrewing one bolt... that is a bit embarrassing.

  • @powsplatboom dude hes not getting exhausted he just breathes heavily. dont be such a dick

  • @powsplatboom Or he could be a smoker, or have a cold, have a medical issue, or any number of other possibilities.

  • "A lot of screwing...fortunately, it's fun to do, if you don't have to do it all of the time." XD

  • @bluesplus1 Thats what she said

  • damn!

  • hoe maak je dat oskar

  • 4:50

    thats what she said.

  • ur breaking the 15,000 dollar cube!

  • Hahaha!! 4:54 he says "A lot of screwing"

  • Turn it upside down and get it over with!

  • EDGES??????? CORNERS?????

    :'(

  • i like how you destroy your puzzle for our amusement/learning

    thank you

  • Dammit Oskar just turn it over and let the pieces fall out! Don't know why that bothered me so much.

  • It's like removing teeth!

  • I was kinda scared you would unscrew one face completely and it would just fall apart

  • a lot of screwing...

  • Are you by any chance Dutch? You accent sounds pretty dutch o.O

  • try fitting that in a blender

  • did anyone finish this?

  • good luck assembling the cube !

  • How did you design this?

  • That was so creepy... "A lot of screwing..."

  • have you ever solved it?

  • A lot of screwing.

  • Now put it back together

  • @4:53 ----- That's what she said

  • lol he said a lot of screwing

  • wow thats scary

  • Just out of curiosity, roughly how long did it take you to reassemble this?

  • 4:50 thats what he said

  • I would NOT want to leave this near a baby, small pieces..jesus.

  • It looks so badass! It's a shame that it's such a bear to rotate the tiers around. :(

  • 4:53 "A lot of screwing."

    Lol.

  • @Grimnirwher9 hahahahha, my joke bro

  • if i but this... i will never solve it...NEVER o.0

  • @IRTheodor try the 20x20x20 on gabbasoft if that's more your style :p

  • that was cool. now try to put it back toghter

  • 4:51 "Alot of screwing, fortunately its fun to do when you don't have to do it all the time" OMFG THATS WHAT SHE SAID

  • why don't you just flip the cube over to get it out?

  • Sweet! It's adjustable!

  • CARROTS!!

  • At 4:53 he says "Lot of screwing" hahaha

  • you are going to scramble it right now

  • 15x15x6 faces = 1350

    15*12 edges = 180

    1*8 corners = 8

    1 core

    1350+180+8+1=1539

...you could throw in the 6 screws and 6 caps for total of 1551

  • will it blend?

  • Comment removed

  • @juliand665 A bit more, actually.

  • Comment removed

  • @juliand665 17x17x6=1734 already

  • @daarook nope. You're counting some pieces twice or even three times! I just meant that he pulled out 225 orange pieces :P

In total, it would be 1538 pieces that you can see from the outside

  • @OskarPuzzle 1946 pieces i would say, not 100% sure.

  • @OskarPuzzle isnt it like 1734 pieces or somthing in total?

  • @OskarPuzzle a lot more :p

  • @juliand665 A bit more, actually.

  • @juliand665

    224 :D

  • @TheAhmet1453 nope, 225. 15x15=225

  • @juliand665

    without core piece 15^2-1

  • @TheAhmet1453 Sure, but why wouldn't you count the central piece of those 225?

  • @juliand665 the 7x7x7 has 218 so i dont think that a 17x17 has 225 peices

  • @1guitarherocraze 225 coloured pieces that he took out! Dammit, how often will I have to repeat myself?!

  • @juliand665 & @1guitarherocraze It's 289 pieces. 17 times 17 is 289. And the cube's total surface is 4913 pieces. Use a calculator.

  • " i hope im not scaring you" your scaring me! lol

  • a lot of pieces. have you seen the Examinx yet?? its out and it is indeed mindblowing..

  • 4:52 Lot of screwing, OH YEA!

  • really one would only have to solve a 15x15x15 cube because the outer layers are all black. Why did you decide to add the black layer, instead of just continuing the colors to the edge?

  • kom jij uit nederland?

  • Why not sticker the big black pices?

  • uuh... id rather buy an alien ware then this thing

  • ... how come the edges are black? that just makes it easier to solve... you should put stickers on them to make it harder =D

  • You just took apart $1600 -_-

  • but can you put it back together

  • "a lot of screwing "

  • I should take a spoon. To spoon them out..:D

  • why did you decide to leave the edges and corners black?

  • Always impressive.

  • "alot of screwing" lawls

  • @CorCat87 just getting ready to type that

  • great, now............ DROPKICK IT !!!

  • 6:03 The core is exposed! Fire proton torpedoes!

  • can you solve this :O

  • no offence, but I could probably solve that. There is only the centeres to solve, with nothing else to worry about

  • @victorgabrielpetre It would take a while though!

  • couple things. No Edge Pairing? no Parity? No Final 3x3 solve? 2 layers Are neutral? just solve centers? technically your solve a 15x15. but i would sticker the whole thing to make it all really count.

  • funny thing is that anyone who can solve a 5v5 can solve that with enough time

  • And now it's time for the lubrication

*pours a gallon of Lubix into the cube*

  • 4:52 "Lot of screwing...", that's what she said!

  • Dr. Twisty!

  • How much Maru lube does it take to lube a 17x17 cube

  • Ha! take that rubics CUBE maniacs. your core is a SPHERE! lol

  • a lot of screwing

  • it actually saddened me to watch him take apart that beast of a puzzle.

Putting it back together must be a puzzle by itself

  • $1600 wow.. pretty awesome though

  • i luv that puzzle can u purchase the puzzle? and just in curiosity why did u pick the number of layers 17 why not 13 or 14 or 15 or 16 why 17?

  • @toms49100 Yes, you can buy the puzzle from me. I took 17 as it is a rediculously high number.

  • i cannot afford that!!

  • @OskarPuzzle I was guessing you did 17 because it's easier to solve odd-numbered puzzles...

  • @OskarPuzzle But could you go higher? with the floating anchor system?

  • @OskarPuzzle do 19 :P

  • later in life, i promise to buy one before i die!

  • That thing would be insane to put back together

  • Lol it looks like he's gutting a pumpkin

  • a shpoon to shpoon them out

  • Each one of the orange piece is different from one another? Is it that?

    Jesus Christ!

  • @jjmarquete Correct. Well, each orange piece has three identical twins and four mirror twins

  • Out of curiosity, how many of these have you sold?

  • the 17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17x17 not the 17x17x17 cube

  • orange seems to be ur fav color :)

  • can you put stickers on the edges and make it an 18x18x18?

  • imagine a 101x101x101 puzzle... removing the caps of the center pieces... it would take a while to actually find the middle layer lol

  • Put stickers on the black protective outline and you have made a 19x19x19! :)

  • 1,300 to buy, how much does it cost to make!

by the way you are a genius

  • Looks like little carrot sticks :P

  • why are the edge and corner pieces not coloured?

  • ah, how i would love to do edge pairing with this one.

  • the only thing this cube is good for is for a guiness world record. other then that. im sure it will get beat some day soon

  • carrot bits?
