  • I liked 0:00 to 6:19, but after that it goes downhill.

  • This was on Carson Daly's show? That's what I call progress.

  • Nice letts thrash Im an old fuck now but i could last maybe a song. since their only a minute. One of my old Punk dawgs called me and said slugger check out OFF. Youll love um. Keiths hair looks like shit though hahaha

  • OFF Fucking Rules !!!!! -Knife Pliskin, A Few Loose Skrews

  • The ultimate storm is coming.... MINDJAKKED GROMMET PHD NICK PIVOT kick off and take the stage at the SWET MAY 20TH in Greensboro,NC to start off the DETROIT RIOT TOUR also Broken at Birth with be gracing the stage as well !!! Be there for all of us need support from our all of YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OI GODDAMN IT We need you all! Come one Come all!

  • Most of you have a silly view of punk-rock and its subsidiaries and its off-shoots. You can't say Off! is better then a band like Modern Life is War, or Ceremony, because they arent comparable. Off! is a solid band reminiscent of first wave hardcore, but both punk, and hardcore progress. They stick to a classic style digging at nostalgia, and a lot of people will enjoy it. But you cant rag on solid pop-punk bands like Banner Pilot or thrashy hardcore bands like Mountain Man.

  • Real punk by people that have lived it!

  • i think OFF! is better than the circle jerks dont get me wrong i love the circle jerks but i like OFF! better

  • Dude, these guys have been around since Black Flag started, these guys all were in the same scene. This is just really old school hardcore punk, like it should be, back to the roots! It's not a rip-off, cause these guys helped creating this classic hardcore punk sound in early 80's!

I'd kill to see these guys play live, since I've never experienced a Black Flag, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Circle Jerks show... can't get any closer to that than with this band!

  • 4 minutes for 4 songs? they could put 4 songs into 4 seconds and it would still be too long for me. :)

  • with the screen name voicetek i can only assume you are a real studio type tweaker, meaning you're some kinda perfectionist with music. punk is not about muso perfection. it's about raw emotion and feeling, usually anger, frustration and desperation. when expressing stuff like that, it's not gonna sound all pretty. OFF! rules at what they do, especially these days when most kids think punk is about writing cute, catchy songs about girls.

  • Greatest video ever!

  • This isn't singing, it isn't even music. If there was a train wreck and a bunch of people screamed, it would probably sound the same as this. There are parts of these songs where you can clearly hear that he's tone def. This is ridiculous!

  • @voicetek thank you for your opinion, but no one gives a fuck

  • @voicetek holy christ. Thanks for letting everyone know what music is. go listen to your safe bullshit. please.

  • @voicetek You have no idea what punk rock is, do you limpdick?

  • @voicetek You have not idea what punk rock is, do you, ya wannabe Lester bangs minus the EDUCATED cynicism? Is Greg Graffin pavarotti? No he is moreso a folk singer Is Rollins Mercury? No. He is a purveyor of raw, unfiltered emotive content.

You speak from nothing but arrogant pretension. Please do the real creatives a favor and shut up now.

These guys have a career in music spanning a time longer than you have been alive, what can you say for yourself?

  • carson daly is such a tool. i bet you 5 bucks he's never heard of black flag, circle jerks, OR redd kross

  • @schnide I think Carson Daly deserves a lot of credit for putting these guys on his show and giving them some great exposure. I'm sure half the audience was like "what the fuck is this???" and I bet a few of them left thinking "Damn! I never heard anything like that, but I loved it!" Daly's done his share of lame stuff, but I give him props for putting something truly radical like "Off!" on his show.

  • @schnide as dumb as it sounds, I have actually heard from people that Carson is into shit like Black Flag.

  • @schnide He's from SoCal. He was formerly a DJ on KROQ but I'm pretty sure he has, not to be the devils advocate.

  • This is REALLY good. Very original even for today, maybe because it's keith, dunno. I'm impressed and looking forward to the new songs.

  • Anybody know that guitar Dimitri is using? It has a sweet tone, a crunchy mid range sound that was even sweeter when he did that solo

  • @mangaspiked I thought the drummer was dimitri? Anyway, I think the guitar and bass players are from red kross

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork : i was actually asking what type of guitar he is using, i dont know if its a Hagstrom or something else

  • @mangaspiked can't tell, looked like a fender for a sec. no idea

  • @mangaspiked judging from the body shape and the headstock, I'd have to say he plays a Mosrite (Johnny Ramone used one).

  • i can see the music i guess but his voice..jesus its not unique at all. and hes knocking the new metal bands when he hasnt even listened to them. emo does suck though, thats one thing right. same chords and shit christ this is not how its done kids. not at all.

  • Comment removed

  • @StfuSiriusly Not unique? His voice blazed the path for an entire genre.

Educate yourself before you decide to wax estupido. Keith Morris. Look it up. His experience is longer than you've been breathing, boyo.

  • The drummer is amazing, reminds me alot of the Clash's drummer and Chris Summers of Turbonegro

  • @MemoPortero he was in Rocket from the Crypt. another excellent band. check em out if you're not familiar with them. great stuff.

  • op iv isnt really old school

  • Off! (great band) on the Carson Daly show?

  • 1:49 to skip all the bullshit

  • "And I'm reeeeaaalllyy excited" This coming from the same guy that showed enthusiasm introducing things like Mariah Carey and N'Sync in the, um, late 90s?/early 2000s? Shut up Carson, drink my urine.

  • ??? : keith can we turn it down at all?

    Keith: turn what down?

    ??? : the whole thing

    Keith: oh, n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-no

    lol

    lol

  • yea good then he stopped making shitty music with jerks

  • I would pay all of my dollars to see them live.

  • i just ate an orange

  • Fuck you haters... THIS IS REAL. Punk didn't start out as DIY as part of it's ethics, it started DIY out of necessity because no one would touch it. If you're artistic, political, stance and the freedom to express it isn't being stifled or manipulated, than who gives a fuck what avenue it takes to get to where it's going (I.E. our ears!)?!? This IS indeed how it's done.

  • Carson Daly is such a douche...Supergroup is something they do NOT want to be called.

  • Kieth is awesome he's older than my mom

    and still crazy as fuck

  • @IHateYouJesusChrist Yeah, so has FEAR, the epoxies, the Dickies, Agent Orange and who knows what other legends decided to show up for no reason. I never went to one but... I would have loved to see Fear and the Dickies.

  • Oh how they wish they were Greg ginn.

  • Seems like the old circle jerks's not quite dead!

    It's a blessing!

  • fuck that fuckin shit

    fuck those assholes

they should either go to sleep or die

  • Holy shit!!!

As true as they come.YAAAAAAAH!!! A live wire.

  • "No bull****" "what the ****!" what kind of channel put a blank on words nowadays?!!

    fuck that!

  • this is the stuff that made what the radio fears! this is true to the roots, no holds barred, real old skool hard core as its intended to be. without bands or people lioke keith, and many others you all would be listing to rehashed abba and lovingmit. oh wait, half of you probably already are.....

  • this shit is so corny

  • @Archaeopteryx911 "You're the problem. You're the pollution."

  • SO SO INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am feeling like I am in a time machine....feels like 1981-82....I LOVE THIS!!!!!

  • see kids? that's how it's done.

  • I quote someone else...OFF is the new ON!

  • so awesome

  • I Can't Stop Watching This, And I Love It!

This Needs To Be The New Revolution!

All 4 Songs Make You Want To Scream and Slam!

  • its like being back on the 80's

    fuck pop-punk

    fuck screamo

    fuck post-hardcore

    fuck you warped tour

    this is real punk rock

  • @ikomplex youre lame. theres actually a lot of good punk from the 90s where those genres started and were taken by sell out record labels who brokered deals with huge labels to make it the lame trendy shit it is now. why blame bands when its the middle men who were bought off. not to mention most of the 80s punkers all took it past DIY - which begs the question, why is OFF on Carson Daly at all? to show "old" aesthetics? nice try. same deal, different mask.

  • @ikomplex Ya this is real punk..on carson daily's show....

  • @ikomplex dont be so narrow minded

  • @ikomplex why fuck post-hardcore ?? Lead singer of Minor Threat Ian Mackaye play in most famous post-hardcore band called Fugazi he played in Embrace,Pailhead etc etc Many 80's post-hardcore bands inspired hardcore kids and they did maked great bands before you say anything think what you are saying! Cheers&Peace

  • @ikomplex actually two good pop punk bands is ALL and the descendents the descendents were hardcore earlier

  • @ikomplex Why fuck screamo? Ian Makye was in embrace.

  • @ikomplex Don't call it Punk Rock it sounds to cheesy but a called it Hardcore Punk or really what it actually is Rock N' Roll!!!!

  • Killer!

  • BADASS!

  • amazing

  • Guess Keith knew he was the man to remind everyone that this shit is still alive. He can attract more attention than a struggling band could. If anything it helps those trying to keep it alive.

  • Even the pretentious D.C./Brooklyn '80s hardcore revivalists realize there are still good new bands in the genre forming. When I'm 45 I'm not going to expect the best of modern hardcore to be on traveling festivals visiting arena parking lots, so I don't know why Morris thinks they're there. I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he's taken out of context, but plenty of dudes his age basically said the same thing in American Hardcore. :-\
