Very interesting video. As for only disbelievers practicing stoning in the Quran, I find that to be very interesting. All and all I think that the Quran condemns torture (excessive violence or violence for pleasure) and this IS a form of torture.

I don't believe in *any* hadith. Not even for 'historical' reference. History is written by the victors - in this case 200+ years after the time of revelation. :P
THe funny part is hajr, the word used for stoning can mean, to arrest, to hold in restriction or to detain. But of course they translate it as to stone.
Cutting off hands and feet and crucifying: Surah 5:33, 7:124, 20:71, 26:49
Allah gives example of the tyrants of the earth, oppressors, who desire to cut off the hands and feet of those who do not bow to their will – Pharaoh is a perfect example and it is a repeated example.
In all examples of the disbelievers, they exiled the Messengers (pbut), or sought to slay them.
In Surah 5:33 Allah is showing those who are oppressors are the ones deserving of the fate they wish to enact on others. Exile and crucifixion are included among the list of punishments.
Retaliation - inflict injury on him according to the injury he has inflicted on you - but forgiving is better for you: Surah 2:178-179, 2:194, 5:32, 5:45, 16:126, 42:39-43
