Excellent sample of the available modes on a typical Federal Signal V7P44 lightbar/amplifier group. The CA Highway Patrol rearranged the rotator sequence to allow steady-burning Pods 1 and 7 (R-AMB + F-RED) or Pod 4 (R-RED + F-RED); most other police agencies in California steady-burned Pod 4 (SS 2, SS 3).

Sehr schöne Anlage. Ich habe in Belgien mal eine ähnliche gesehen, allerdings ohne rotes licht. Leider geht das blau hier unter. Vielleicht sollte man die roten Lampen durch blaue ersetzen. Dann hätte man nach vorne nur blau (und weiß natürlich). Und zur Absicherung nach hinten hat man noch zwei orange Leuchten und diese orange "Lichtleiste" darunter. Es wäre auch schön man würde das so gestalten, das man auch nur mit Orange absichern kann.

Aktuell hat die Vision die Lichthauben wie die der NYPD.

Also Rot, Weiss. und die äußersten nach hinten Gelb und nach vorne Rot.

Mit den Lichthauben und Farbfiltern kann man so viel machen und auch die Lichtmuster sind Programmierbar

Nice video. Question upon looking at the photo of the keypad. What is the LACO and BRAKE buttons do?

Hi. The button shows LRCO for =Left/Right/Center Out. It's for the traffic advisor on the rear. The Break Button ist for a electromechanical Siren like the "Q". With this button you can break the Siren so that it don't run so long.

The lights kinda look like our old ones.. We just got new cop cars after Hurricane Katrina with new paint schemes and LED Lights but there are still a lot of old ones around and the lights kinda look like the ones that were on our older cars..

This Lightbar is from another collector. He told me this one was on a police car in Nevada. The siren is from the NYPD. I've just change the patterns.

Hi! I have removed this button. I have many other. The Brake button is to stop mechanical sirens like the Federal Signal Q. Some mechanical siren have really breakes.

That's a Whelen siren. Unless you are an ambulance, don't bother with a Whelen, get the Federal Signal Touchmaster siren. The siren of law enforcement.

That's not a Whelen siren.

The Vision has a own siren.

It's a Vision siren from Federal Signal.

It sounds like the SS2000 and has almost the same Touchpad.

This is a very cool video. I like that you took time to show the different light patterns.

I think the V-bar is the best ever platform. The vector was a new concept at the time, and I'm glad Federal Sginal improved on this by creating the Premium Vision.

I saw the Polizei some where started using these Red/Blue vectors as well the car was a B.M.W. and it was mainly Blue and White with some red markings..Maybe you know what part of Germany that is as the picture of the news paper was too blurry and I couldn't read it.

The NYPD uses this lightbar and it is great. It's bright, looks very good, and has numerous options depending on which model you buy. Starting in 2007, the NYPD started buying the LED model of the lightbar, which is even brighter.
