  • Very nice piece! Sounds amazing.. I can see that in your earlier videos you used logic, just out of curiosity why did you change to cubase?

  • @Lindahl: The primary reason for the switch was that my old Mac died and I decided to to make my own PC. Since Logic is Mac only, I decided to switch to Cubase, as it was relatively affordable and well liked. In retrospect, I'm glad I made the change, as from what I've heard Logic X is a disappointment and Apple has abandoned support of previous versions.

  • @AnonymousComposer Okay I see, I'm also thinking of switching to cubase so nice to hear that you didnt regret it. Cheers

  • very nice. With cubase, are you able to adjust pitch and use the full potential of hollywood strings such as volume control and Bowing?

  • @solidus927: Well, I certainly feel I'm able to get all of the things you've mentioned out of Hollywood Strings, although I'd imagine pretty much any sequencer would be able to do this. The bow changes are handled through the Play engine and key switches, and volume and vibrato are controlled through the mod wheel and expression. However, in order to use Hollywood Strings to it's full potential, you'll need a very impressive setup, including lots of RAM and probably a SSD (or two in RAID 0).

  • I want to hear a villain theme song.
