saw this concert in philly in the now defunct jfk stadium. it was an all day concert with blondie, flock of seagulls and a few other bands. it was a day to remember. never saw a concert quite like that ever again.
My mom took me to this concert in Peoria, Illinois when I was 12...changed my life. We bought the three sides lives album and I woreoout the needle on the record player. Now, I play drums in heavy metal band and we are getting a worldwide record deal. Thank you Phil and gang!
I saw Genesis perform outdoors on this Tour 7 weeks earlier in Chicago, Illinois (Poplar Creek Music Theater, Aug. 3rd, 1982) and this video (err, film) is EXACTLY how I remember the concert - Suppers Ready in its entirety, man, it doesn't get any better than that! It was also my first ever Genesis concert. While I've seen them perform in every tour since, I'm glad I had the opportunity to witness a performance so close to and reminiscent of their old roots. Awesome film this is!
Wow... this is incredible! I wish we could see the whole show. I love how the audience sings along with Phil on Supper's Ready and how the crowd evens sings the "Fly away sweet little thing" part.
This is a soundboard or backstage recording.

I Like mostly the part at 4:53 when the red lights are showing at Phil while he is singing with his hard 82er Tour Voice.
Say what you want, 78,76,82 and 07 were great Tours ! :)

Also Phil looks so spooky from 4:13 to 4:23.
