  • Sounds like blues to me. Country blues.

  • Best Melodyhorn/Melodica video I've seen so far on YouTube! You've been the only person I've seen so far who's a) played the keyboard with more than just one note at a time, and b) has taken advantage of the vibrato effects you can achieve with the mouthpiece!

Also, re. comments on here, definitely old style blues; unarguable a 12 bar blues chord progression and blue style.

  • LAS NOTAS?

  • bluees?? or country??? XD

  • sorta unsure.

  • @CarlosPePex6 we in dixieland now! lol, i guess it's a little bluesy but defiantly has got a sourthern feel

  • @CarlosPePex6

    anyway, country came from blues

  • @CarlosPePex6 i'd say its blues.. totally.

  • its like the harmonica, acordeon and concertino's cousin

  • BTW Your playing is very nice. Could you tell me the name of this and if there is music. I would like to learn it on harmonica. Thanks.

  • OK, I have never seen a melodica, but I understand it has reeds and a keyboard so I thought it was combination of the two.

  • Is this a combination of a harmonica and an Accoridian?

  • nope, it's a normal melodica with a tube

  • it's a harmonica that directs the air to each reed by you preessing a key :)

  • that was realy beatifull =)

  • ajajaj wooo great job dude ;)

  • how much can i get one for?

  • i got mine off ebay for like $20 plus shipping

  • Berkeleywind strikes again! LOL

  • im facinated with the melodica. i want one of my own. do you know anywhere else besides ebay that sells a good quality one?

  • Excuse me if im wrong, but isnt the key of C made up of only natural notes?

  • not in blues

  • Comment removed

  • @unearth91

The C scale only have natural notes, but many tunes (in many styles) written in the key of C will have altered tones, passage notes, chromatic embellishments, modulations, etc. Saying that a piece of music is "in a key" means that one tone (the tone with the same name of the key) is the most important tone, and that the scale of that key will probably be used a lot, but tones that don't belong to the key are allowed to happen.

    Good playing slidestrings
