Once, in a rainy day, in the mountains near Rio, I found a branch with a sloth in the middle of the road. I stoped my car and took the branch up to the next cecropia tree, where sloth goes to eat leaves. Slowly it started to climb, and disapearead. People stoped their cars to and came to watch. They're still very common in Brazil.

Sloth's always remind me of The Witch from the Left 4 Dead games. If they behaved like that... All slow... Until they get riled then they are super fast clawing at you... Then sloths... Would be the most terrifying creatures of all time.

I found one of these in Panama in the woods once. It barely moved at all. These ones look much faster than the one I saw. It was hanging upside down like a bat- and it just stayed in one place. It had moss and stuff growing in it's fur.

@7mikethebike Ones in captivity usually get alot more nutrition than they would get in the wild... the ones in the wild move alot slower because they cant afford to use the energy.
