  • "its just like a cup of sting" hahahaha

  • I'm gonna get me some wild nettle leaves tomorrow and juice it up! If I get stung on the inside, I know who to blame ;)

  • @camboy1132- I LIVE IN HUMBOLDT COUNTY!!!!! :D

  • Kevin, how fast did your nettles grow? I've heard that nettle grows like crazy.

  • Stinging Nettle is such an incredible plant. The juice looks lovely, and what a great idea to use the left over pulp in guacamole!

  • Where can seeds be acquired?

  • I got my seeds from Mountain Rose Herbs. You can also go find a wild patch and make a cutting or small division, they regrow this way very well.

  • Keep it up and you may never experience male pattern baldness, and if you can sacrifice an entire plant now and again for the rhizome root system, you might very well avoid prostate problems. The roots and stems are tough to get down when juiced without carrots or apple or something sweet that takes the gnar gnar away

  • I just did it. your video will educate so many people. this is medicine. You should come to HumBoldt County California Eureka, Arcata it such neet place & culture. not only is it Famous for Cannabis, but people here love to grow Vegetables & they love Wild Herbs & believe in its power.

  • I have tried nettle tea-very good!

  • Oh dear!! As long as you don't accidentally swallow those little formic acid needles!! LOL, not such a pleasant sensation I would think. I've got to get my hands on some nettles, those are like, prime!! I have a manual wheatgrass juicer that I think would do a good job of crushing up those leaves.. Will have to try it, thanks for the vid! :) (btw, my grandpa slaps himself with those stinging nettles, maybe it helps with circulation, who knows, but he is pretty healthy so must be some reason.)

  • You can actually eat the leaves right off the plant without getting stung. David Wolfe has a video demonstrating how somewhere on YouTube.

  • I think it's because the sting releases natural antihistamine & anti-inflammatories in the body

  • Awsome video, what is the vitamin ability of this plant?

  • Thanks. Nettles have tons of chlorophyll, calcium, iron and many other elements and compounds.

  • Its funny for me in the UK how amazed you Americans are about nettles. Its the staple food for bushcrafters here and grows abundantly everywhere. I particularly like eating the new tips straight from the plants.

  • I have found when my hands are throbbing from the RA that I have had for 27 years; the sting of the Nettles take the throb away. I dont know how it works but it does(smile)

My pastures are full of Nettles, and I have the best Dandelion lawn in King County! LOL Dandelions are a good source of vitamin A; good for man and beast!

  • it makes some of the best cordage... i've used it to make some really awesome sun tea as well fermenting it in beer.

  • That looks delicious. My husband and I love dried nettle with butter noodles. Looking forward to finding some fresh soon....
