Lovely bike. I had one in 1968, cost 150 pounds second hand from Pride & Clarke. I think it was a 1965, mag ignition and alternator elecs. The standard mufflers sound great. I suppose the Bonnieville is the natural comparison but I reckon the 650SS is a lot better. I see yours has got the normal silver tank, mine was red for some reason but it wasn't an Atlas. Yours started pretty easy, have you got an electronic conversion in the mag? One of the carbs was a chopped Monobloc from memory.
