Man I was working at a restaurant on the bar that day, steps from the main square in Whistler... Finished my shift end of the 2nd period. After Crosby scored I went outside, and went wild with everyone. Blue rodeo started playing, the sun came out... Best day of my life!

I was in Kandahar on patrol and all we had was a Radio and were were soposted to have radio salince and we all statred to yell and scream and shot our guns .. i threm my gernade and alomost kill my co but it was all fun and we got back to base and hade a good time until we rembered that some member of the 101 were next door ...witch promted us to go over and say good game

I was also pissed when Parise scored, but we came back and took it! I didn't think crosby's shot would go in... it came from a bad angle and I was looking for Iginla to look for the rebound or at least get a faceoff in the USA zone. And it went in! We went nuts at my friend's house, then went out on the streets to celebrate with everyone! WOOOO

While I could hear all my neighbours screaming when Crosby scored the winning goal - especially the Newfies a couple of houses down who watched the game on their deck in the sun - I just had tears slipping down my face - I was beyond vocal reaction! What a game, the icing on the cake to a fabulous, record-breaking by all accounts, winter Olympic games.

@GoLeafsGoBaby When Parise scored, I literally fell to the floor in disbelief, I honestly believed that Canada might actually lose after coming THAT close to clinching the Gold on home ice; but THEN...Crosby scored & the entire country of Canada was lifted to its feet!:-D What a game by both teams, & what a perfect capper to arguably one of the BEST Winter Olympics of all time, I totally agree:-D I had TONS of fun watching the Games overall, & they saved the BEST moment for last:-D

when crosby scored i couldn't talk for like two whole minutes . i was too busy screaming and i didn't even know what to say. i was speechless just screamed i tried to tell my cousin that Iggy got the assist cuz Iginla is his fav player but i couldn't even get the words out of my mouth. By far the single greatest moment of my life
