Nice idea. I liked a lot of it. I think you went a little too far toward the end with the sexual innuendoes and that Julia is advancing on Tony - I would have preferred it to go the other way around as it would be more accurate and leave more room for a comical response.
@rotovia lyrics are in the details under the video. Please send me the video of your performance. I'd love to see it, and please invite me to watch :)

I know that the video clips that Q&A have at the end of their show are usually only 2 or 3 minutes, but if Q&A ever have both Gillard and Abbott on their panel (even though Q&A have yet to have the PM and opposition leader on the panel at the same time) I think it is critical they set aside 5 and a bit minutes to show this clip in full.
While the clip is playing the cameras can keep coming back to the panel, the look on Julia and Tony's faces during the kisssing moments would be priceless!
I love Tony's nervous mini laugh breaths. He does speak like that. The relationship between Tony and Jules is hilarious. You can tell she's in charge. They're like cartoon personalities. You should start a TV comedy series using politician cartoon heads with little bodies.
Old people should go off and live in a time-frozen village like Amish people. Then we'll all be happy, and they won't have the power to slow down civilisation.
I showed this to my friends and they laughed for ages and we watched it four times. My parents hate it because they think it's vulgar. Old people are seriously obsolete and concrete minded. My parents want technology to stop so they can relax. I want immortality, telepathy and everything else that's yet to come. And I want it to hurry up. Kids arent racist because they're open minded and have no expert knowledge about the world. People who think they know everything cannot learn anymore.
Clever. This song shows a Utopian desire to perfect civilisation, with the two biggest players linking arms to abandon maintenance and instead seek optimised solutions for mankind and beyond. And it's obviously been done tongue in cheek so laypeople who have no hope of understanding the concepts can laugh at the basic surface presentation. Most people won't get this song properly. They'll just laugh at the tongues. But it's really well written and promotes Utopia nicely if you remove the comedy.
I think I pissed myself a little
