Now.... i can't believe that the tango song is not on the trailer, so unfair

  • The music really reminds me of The Matrix music!

  • Acabei de re-re-re-rever! Quem nunca viu, veja!

  • Its a classic.

    Focus!

  • Terry Gilliam is a god of sci-fi cinema... Brazil & Twelve Monkeys are the mutt's nuts.

  • Amazing movie

  • looks awesome. epic song. goes well with brad pits monologue

  • When I saw this movie as a child: "What's going?? It doesn't affect me."

When I saw this movie recently: "Whoa... that's mind-blowing, it's super effective!"

  • @OrlyDudeGuy i watched it when i was younger n didnt understand got bored, have never gone bk since. 10 yrs later im tempted to give it another shot

  • brad pitt is such an amazing actor, he can play so much different types of role!

  • Wow, just watched this movie. Dark City is a another good one

  • very cool movie! i wish i had this on DVD

  • Brad was brilliant

  • Amazing movie. The reason it looks rubbish is because people forget these days that films are about stories and not about If its going to be in 3D or not. I wish they would stop releasing bog standard mind melting with boredom films. I hope i can travel back to 1990 so i can see something fucking decent in the cinema!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @simpson1783 I agree! and you can travel man =) by watching movies from those times. These days I only watch movies from atleast 10-15 years ago. The new ones just dont have good stories, I get bored after about 20 mins.. Effects are sometimes cool yeah..but without the story it is worthless.

  • @simpson1783 honestly man, I sometimes feel like I'm the only one who realizes that for the past 2 to 3 years or so, almost every movie has been forgotten about within a month of its end from playing in theatres. People dont want good movies...they just want over-priced snacks ang endless gimmicks

  • @simpson1783 My friend recently discovered an old photo of him and his brother from the mid 90's. It was taken at the movie theater with the "Now Showing" sign visible in the background. See if you remember any of these titles:

    Hercules

    Air Force One

    Face Off

    Contact

    Anaconda

    Conspiracy Theory

    George of the Jungle

These were all playing at once in the theater.

  • this movie is really great, btw

  • When i first saw this as a kid i thought it was the worst movie ever.. When i watched it again as a teenager i felt like spanking every kid in the world for not liking this. Now as an adult i`m drunk on my spare time so .. fuck it.

  • @uhrnerevar

lol, I thought this movie was boring as a kid too. Gonna watch it again though.

  • Doesn't movie copy based off of OUtbreak.

  • weirdest movie

    ever xD

  • LoL icePRickSnowmanzzzz

The reason why it is A GREAT Movie !!?? is.... this movie doesn't need money the movie by it self is great enough.

In that time (mid 90s) poeple went to the cinema because movies where great.

Now poeple go to the movie in the hope to see a good movie but the only thing we get now, is 5 movies a wheek and hopefully one good movie a year

Hollywood is a deing breed dude.

  • @Nexcrome I couldent agree with your more. Movies arnt stories any more there how much special effects 3D shit can we cram into 2:30 hours. ive ran out of good films to because newly realesed films are FUCKING SHIT.

  • Love the movie. Sci-Fi, but of a higher intellectual quality than most. Can anyone recommend another like it? (Already seen Blade Runner)

  • @musicalswordfish

Source code has a somewhat similar plot and I thought it was really good too

  • @AKenjiB Source Code is bad, doesn't make any sense. 12 monkeys is good...Maybe you'll see the difference one day but i doubt it:>

  • awesome movie

  • To everyone who loves this movie: Watch the movie that was the inspiration to this one. It's called La Jetée and is made by Chris Marker.

  • Oh god... I'm searching for end of the world movies again.

  • the 12 monkeys are just a pacific group that want to free the animals from the zoo^^ The real bad guy is the assistant of brad's pitt father

  • one of the best movies ever..

  • that movie sucked monkey balls

  • @dalekdude180 actually the movie was a hit and it's still a good movie, dumbass. look it up.

  • i own twelve monkeys, what a coincedence

  • the best movie ever

  • the music is the same as in conan the barbarian, does anyone know what it's called?

  • @scuffla Nope, the is from Bram Stroker's Dracula (1992).

  • This film is awesome! Brad and Bruce are both epic!

  • Brad Pitt was phenomenal in this movie

  • this is Bible..

  • YOU SYMBOLIZE HOPE

  • Brilliant film. I like the old tramp in it who tells him that he's "sure f*cked up bub". The film never really makes out who is is. Is he part of Cole's (anyone else notice his character shares the same first name with Haiey Joel Osment in the Sixth Sense) imagination, or is he part of the time travel programme, or is he a manifestation of something else (like God or the Devil). Who know's. It is brilliant that the film doesn't try and explain it. Terry Gilliam is superb at giving these moments,

  • @johnthekeys ok here is my theory on this guy

you see this character twice in the movie, or at least the guy who places his voice; both in the year 1997 one week from each other. The first time, he does recognize Cole and shows how he pulled out the tooth. The second time he denies to the psychiatrist that he knows what shes talking about.

The disembodied voice appears three times in the movie, twice in the future (when Cole is in the cell and right after he returns),once in 1997 at airport

  • @johnthekeys so to continue my explanation. The first time he appears is in the future where he says he "may be a prisoner in the next cell" I believe this to be the correct explanation. The second time Dr. Railly sees him, he has never been sent back in time, and is baffled at here words about the future. He survives the plague to the future, where he talks to Cole from the next room. Then he is sent back to the past where he meets Cole and Dr. Railly for their first time.

  • @johnthekeys Finally the hardest part for me to explain is how Cole hears the vagrants voice at the airport and telling him to fool the scientists after his second return to 2035. These could either be true examples of Cole's developing or inherent psychosis from his childhood trauma of seeing himself shot. The whole movie throws the idea of causality out the window since Cole both technically starts the plague and finds its cure; anything is really possible.

  • Never seen it before gonna watch it now

  • @yplay2 Shit??? You don't have TV or something? Best movie ever.

  • Le Jetee.

  • This movie was way beyond it's years .

  • @JayTate808 it is still....

  • @JayTate808 true

  • @JayTate808 your damn right man..1 this is one of my fav movies.

  • 12 means something?

  • @right2left2 no

  • One of my favorite movies.

  • Now, I found this DVD as I was clearing out my son Chadwich's old room. I initially cast it aside, but once I saw that Bradley Pitt was in it, OH MY! I remember seeing him in that bodice ripper Legendary Falls! He was more of a stallion that the steed he rode so stoically! So I watched. Hubby Herbie was away & I had a glass of sherry! What could go wrong? I was appalled when I was visually assaulted by my dear Bradly as some twitchy eyed freak! Even Deuce Williams was dishier here! What a waste!

  • @jasonismyhomie Conclusion; you're ever lasting fantasy was shattered? Reality hits you hard! ;D

  • @jasonismyhomie Lol. Chadwich.

  • @jasonismyhomie Trolololololol

  • @jasonismyhomie haha chadwich?? bradley?? you're a benny, mate

  • Pitt makes such a bloody fantastic psychopath.

  • 344,661 views and still no top comment?

  • @fostray did u realize there is no thumbs down and thumbs up button for the comments?

  • @DemonologistIsHeavy and it shouldn't be allowed on any video comment section :)

  • This movie is confusing as fuck

  • @cottoncandychic It's confusing to you because one has to be crazy to understand something like this ;)

  • Brad Pitt's Best Performances: (These films are in no particular order, but show his true versatility) 12 Monkeys (1995) The Curious Case Benjamin Button (2008) Moneyball (2011) Seven (1995) Inglourious Basterds (2009) The Tree of Life (2011) Fight Club (1999) Snatch (2000) Babel (2006) The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007)
  • @cinemapsycho91 You missed Fight Club in that list of yours.

  • @cinemapsycho91 Interview with the vampire from the 90's is imo Brad Pitts best performance.

  • Durden ... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • i dunno where i'am right now....

  • This whole movie is a Subliminal Message....There is Tyler Durden....Why is there Tyler Durd.....The first rule of Project Mayhem: You do not ask questions

  • Brad Pitt is not acting on this one.

  • damn

  • Brad Pitt - fucking awesome.

  • Terry Gillaim (Director of Monthy Python)

  • @j0KKKer Terry Gilliam was a "Python".

  • @MessIahmake

    AHHHHHH so hungry

  • Watch the official trailer of "Last Monkey" a brand new web series inspired from "12 Monkeys".

  • 12 monkeys 1 of my fav film loved it bruce and brad were awsome

  • this trailer doesnt do the movie justice

  • I want my fakin 2hours and 4 minutes back. this is too much to watch a time-bow story.... or time-hitch...or what ever called in english.... in family guy they did it in 20 minutes.... FAAAK!!!

  • @Vadkani What..? The..? HELL?

Family Guy is not even comparable to this in any level. I mean, come one! All the time travel episodes they have are full of illogicalities... holes in the plot.

    This is art.

  • i dint like the ending, it was too predictable, i needed a better twist Dx

  • @rinnegan200

Ugh, the ending wasn't about having a "twist." It was to point out that his life was in a time loop and never found out and mankind would continuingly try to go in the past trying to save the future not knowing that it would always end up with it all being ruined. There was much more to it than just "ahhh he's the kid."

  • @BryanEKS89 thanks for that i wont bother watching it as it sounds shit.

  • @rinnegan200 The ending was sad actually :(

  • Annoying that it had to mention that it was inspired by 'La Jetee' in the opening credits, completely ruined the ending for me.

  • Very underrated film.

  • Haha that music is from Dracula

  • @solidfox69 You are right. I don't know why the music is from Coppola's "Dracula"...

  • LOL All went as Fated

  • If you want a movie with happy end like all Hollywood maistream films you mustn't watch this. It's a dark masterpiece!!!

  • @LeonAmarantos It's kind of like 'The Terminator'. James Cole finds himself in a lot of situations similar to Kyle Reese. The authorities (police, mental institution, anything that represents order) are always the enemy because they always help the villain (because the villain = order). And there's almost always one exception. Lt. Traxler believed Reese (as seen in a deleted scene) and gave him a revolver before he died as Reese and Sarah were escaping from the police station.

  • @IggyHazard Yes, but a big difference between "12 monkeys" and "The Terminator" is that the end in the first movie is really painfull (only the eyes of the boy let us see something more hopefull).
