I lost all four of my angels in the divorce five years ago, she just up and ran off with her boss; every day that goes by I just ache missing them. I wrote a song about it, would love for someone to sing it, called, Daddy on the Shelf. I just lost my oldest, my dear Kate, in an auto accident a couple months ago...her last message to me on the phone a week before she died, "me n u will get together sometime I need to focus on school right now." ... I know she's with the Lord and I'll see her.

My daughter just turned 18, she hasn't talked to me on the phone, or been to my house in several years...although she lives close. When she did turned 18, I purchased a 'daddy phone' a prepaid mobile phone, but no phone calls, and I did try to call her, but no answer. This is a very sad song. I am a firm believer in shared custody!!

Marty's voice is stellar. I am shocked this man does not have hits on the radio. If anyone deserves it, it is Marty. He is an incredible person and this song is very nice.

I was in a band that opened a show for him. He was also a very nice person as well as a great singer. Actually, everyone in his band were great guys. I had a problem with my banjo, and Marty's banjo player let me use his. Afterward, I hung around backstage and jammed with them.

They are all great musicians and great people, and it is a shame they don't have many hits.
