Loistava veto, hieno livekeikka. Big Country on vain yksi rockhistorian suurista bändeistä. Voiko kitara enää hienommin soida? Tässä on jotakin maagista....
hey nigelman-- ...the world is a far from a perfect place -- i get that. i don't wear rose covered classes, but i don't need some idiot pointing out every pimple on the world's ass for me.this is a great concert, stuart is playing and singing great, having fun and is obviously sober. so fuck off. to this other dumbfuck - the 'nigger in the kilt' is their one and only bass player tony butler. i am in the us, where such a comment could earn your face smashed in, in humor or no.
@Nigelxman please direct me to a link of their best then...stuart seems to be in fine shape to me here, singing and playing well and obviously enjoying himself...
@soyghost1 By the way, this is the only concert where I made mantion of the fact that Stuart clearly was in bad shape. Aren't YOU the person who just recently DISOVERED this great band? Maybe try observing a little of their history mate. But ignorance is bliss right?
@Nigelxman dude you are stuck on negativity-- just enjoy the music for what it is...i have been listening to big country since the early 80's, spent many an hour learning mark drum parts back in school...yes alcoholism sucks, yes it gets worse over time. i'm not sure what your purpose is for pointing all this pointless stuff out except to cast a shadow of sludge over all you touch...i am forced to finally conclude that you are one of life's assholes who wouldn't be missed a bit
@soyghost1 Wow you really don't get it do you? "A shadow of sludge"? You're quite the poet aren't you Soy? :-) I love much of Big Country's music. Why does it seem to bother you so much that I left a very honest comment about Stuarts condition in this concert. Are you one of these obsessive little fanboys who has a shrine to all things Big Country in your bedroom? Maybe it's best that you try to pull your head out of your ass long enough to not be so overly-sensitive. :-)
@soyghost1 How is anything I wrote toxic? I'm a huge Big Country fan and I find it sad seeing footage of Stuart when he was a shdow of his former self because of his alcoholism. Did you ever bother to read what Tony Butler had to say about Staurts condition at this point? Granted, Stuart is still able to perform in this show, but it's nothing close to the joy and energy he clearly got from playing live in earlier years. Do you honestly not SEE That?
Saw them once in Brussels long time ago, wonderful memories... Some rockstars that kill themselves aren't really a surprise, it usually shows in their music, in their lyrics. I mean...Kut Cobain, I of course, I can understand that, no surprise, but Stuart Adamson??? Their music was always so uplifting, so positive, so full of hope, so lively. What a shame.
Wow look at all this crap!

my homage in verse to nigelman, as a symbol of my respect:
nigelman, oh nigelman, how does your garden grow?
with a shadow of sludge, and i love packin' fudge--
it's the only way i know!
