Cats enjoy things like that. I have two cats and leave a clear box on the floor. Every day one of them is inside of it, pawing at the other one. If it bothered them they would not do it. My cats choose to go into the box and play with it. This cat also chose to continue playing in the jar. Give the cat some credit, it knows that it is interacting with a plastic jar and chooses to keep doing so. Calm yourselves.
