Morrowind has the worst combat of ANY game including Pong. Best game ever made, hands down, except for the combat... labeling my MP3 collection is more fun.

I really dont get the combat in Morrowind please help. I'm hacking at an unarmed slutty breton with a battle axe and it never seems to even touch her. Then after a few dozen slashes one finally hits them and instantly kills them.

what happens if you turn "always use best attack" off?

@blackZ34all: If "always use best attack" is turned off then you will attack differently depending on how you are moving, for example if you are moving forwards or backwards you will stab, but if you are strafing then you will slash.

this isn't a mod. its an option on the game menu, just toggle off "always use best attack" but the head coming off is both disgusting and is a mod. sort of like the bolivion deadly reflex's mod.
