can you tell what the music is called when they go onto the dance floor and wilfred bramwell slips over. would like to know the name of the music they played.
@zimbutd Reg Varney was born on the 11th of July 1916 and the first series of On The Buses was first aired on the 28th of February 1969, so that makes Reg Varney 52 years old when On The Buses first started, not 58. Reg Varney had his 53rd birthday on the 11th of July 1969.
@zimbutd Holiday On The Buses was made in 1973 and Reg Varney was born in 1916 so that makes him 57 when this film was made, not 62. Holiday On The Buses was released on December the 26th 1973.
Suprising number of Zephyr`s and Zodiacs in this film. The depot manager has one - Stan nearly hits one in the opening titles and as Arthur & co are run off the road on the bridge, Stan once again nearly hits one later in the film. Anyone else noticed??
On the DVD, the woman at 0:10 runs for the bus exposing her breasts! It puts into the shade Barbara Windsor's revelation in Carry On Camping! Incidentally, both films feature Anna Karen.
Tragic! Every film book in existence thinks these films are dire! Maybe I am getting too cumudgeonly as I get older but to me these are worst things we ever made-and Hammer Films of all people. A classic? Rubbish, its bloody awful-the tv series was better.
