  • I am in love! Ima just learning and oh so happy I found you!

  • @sweetdrk1 I'm happy you found me too!!! Thanks so much for watching!

  • I am as well a tight knitter and need to embrace it. I like this pattern. Thanks for sharing.

  • @BohemianThings Thank you and God bless!

  • Hi im having trouble finding the size 9 16 circular needles so i bought the size 9 29 can that still work when making a hat?

  • @cruzanrum1212 I actually used size 8, 24 inch circulars for this hat. size 16 would be too small.

  • @cruzanrum1212 Respond to this video...I updated the materials needed on our website and do apologize for the mix up.

  • thank you thank you thaaank you for doing this tutorial! i can't wait to start and finish this project!

i'm still having trouble in the beginning of the project. in the round i always have a giant gap in btwn the 1st stitch and the last stitch when i join and i can't seem to figure out what i'm doing wrong.. :(

also if i were to make a "slouchy" version of this (similar to what johnny depp and brad pitt would be seen wearing..) would i just make the body longer than 7inches?

  • @tooplus2rsevn Thank you for watching!

Once you join in the round, there will be a gap until you begin your second row of the pattern. Remember to drawing the yarn tight at the point also. As your hat knits up, the gap will disappear.

For a slouchier Brad Pitt/Johnny Depp hat, definitely go more than 7 inches. :-)

  • @tooplus2rsevn You're going to want to go up a size in the needles after you knit the brim of the hat in order to make it slouchier too.

  • Double pointed needles really confuse me. Can you do the same thing without changing to DP's and just work it on circulars?

  • @SoGoGal It might be difficult on circulars because of the very few stitches. Give it a try. You might surprise yourself.

  • On the first round of decrease did you mean K2 P2 together? You said K2 P2 around, but you were doing it tog.... Thanks :)

  • @angel292005 LOL! So sorry about that. Sometimes, I talk too fast. I did mean to K2tog and P2tog across. The written instructions are now up on the website also. Thank you for pointing this out.
