Gig'em started at a yell practice before the 1930 TCU game. A guy named Pinky Downs shouted "What are we going to do to those horned frogs?" and then he would say, "gig'em aggies!" (with a thumbs up sign)

well it refers to our longhorn hand symbol, like your thumbs up thing. and it was introduced a few years after your gig em was. harley clark came up with it to resemble the longhorn head as our logo, and its just a saying that goes with it.
