  • i think you need yeast...the dough will not rise and will be tough and hard when you bake it. :(

    go out and get some yeast, it makes a huge difference. you may search online about getting your dough fluffy without using yeast...you may find something about the subject. good luck

  • ANY yeast will do for sure..instant yeast is great and so is the traditional one. thanks for cooking my recipes and i am glad they worked out for you.

  • to tell you the truth, i never used self rising flour without using yeast with it...you can try..let me know how it works out, if you succeed then i might start doing the same like you. :)

  • one last question. When you say 1 cup, is that standard? like any cup I have i can use it and measure it that way? I have cup for coffee can i use those to measure the flour?

  • Voudim, at what point of the process do you mean? after you are done with the kneading the dough leave in a warm place until it rises, also when you put the toppings on the pizza, leave at room temp. until it rises a little. for about 15 minutes before baking. hope this answers your question. thanks for coming by.
