The song fits her surprisingly well, especially the part about the strongest surviving, and being the one to save the rest. Makoto really is like that, always going the extra mile to protect everyone.

He's a prince of Earth, that does not equate senshi status. And he's rather pathetic in the anime... always getting brainwashed ... dying ... failing at being a boyfriend. But that doesn't make him a senshi or in place of one, and animewise he was GIVEN the golden crystal by Helios to GUARD. However He is NOT a senshi and he is not the strongest, each and everyone one of the girls makes him look like a pansy. But if you wanna get technical about it, the guardian cats even had starseeds ... and they aren't senshi in either the manga or anime. Princess Kakyuu had a starseed, in the anime she wasn't a senshi. She was only Sailor Princess Kakyuu in the manga

part 2: Everyone had star-seeds, and therefor the possibility to be a Sailor Senshi as long as they were FEMALE. However its only those that had senshi powers or was technically stronger than the average human shone brighter. That was the point of Galaxia collecting them. Mamoru only stood in the vacant spot of the Earth Senshi because as Prince of Earth a Senshi of Earth was not needed, even in his deaths if there was a chance for him to return. Hes only a filler.

p3: the question of strength is NOT who is the psychically strongest & who has the most fighting skills. Sure that adds to it. However true strength comes from when its the bottom of the ninth, all bets are stacked against you, you are on the floor broken bleeding wanting to just call it a day & go home but yet you PUSH yourself up & keep on fighting because if you don't you know you'll lose everything. That is something Mamoru rarely ever did, he played the hero but he wasn't the strongest.

Sailor Venus is the most skilled of all of using powers.

I recall it was from a point in the first saga of the Sailor Moon anime where Mamoru had been put under mind control and served Beryl as his past live alter ego, Endymion, that fight, was decent, but not amoung the best of Sailor Jupiter's fights. when she fought Zoicite was a pretty sweet fight. Makoto Kino, she just kicks ass. *smiles and nods approvingly*
