ulster grand prix is the best road race in the world for a spectator, mass start, and no matter where you watch around the course, youre sure of a great vantage point
Irelands Hero `The Flyin Finn` gone but will never be forgotten, we followed him everywhere he was our man, #45 R.I.P big fella, were going to the TT but it will never be the same. Stormloopers Belfast.
I lived in UK (American) for a few years and was able to see IoM TT. Thought that was nuts, but this is even better. I am going to go back just for some of these events. BTW, WAY diffent from idiots fooling around in traffic. These guys are nuts, but know what they're doing. Ride on!!!
que pasada ver a cameron donald y martin finnegan, este año me quede con ganas de ver a cameron en el TT, pero... le vere en la NW200 y Skerries 100 si todo va bien!!!
holy sh~t this is nuts! I've always considered myself a roadracer, but not literally! Besides IoM, where does this take place? is this a normal annual series? Damn! I thought these guys only went nuts one time a year!
Byecruelworld- stop preaching. Unless you want to preach to the fat and lazy burger munchers who will have an early heart attack and end up cardiac cripples. And the smokers. And the drinkers.
I respect the road racers. I would never do it. Mankind includes the dull and the crazy. Rejoice in this.
road racing is the best as you dont know what is around the next corner. could be loose gravel, could be oil, anything and byecruelworld dont be saying that my friends have half a brain i work with the JD'S Motorcycles team and John Donnan passed away at the tandragee, at least he died doing what he loved!! you should give these guys some respect. Ok Ok you might love playing a bit of football or something i like playing football too but i prefer more faster sports.
Troubledmindz + NoobInaCan, even though it is closed curcuit, road racing is far more dangerous than track. If these riders took care of a person with severe, permanent disabilites for a week, they would never road race again (or they'd be very stupid if their attitude was still 'it will never happen to me'). It's sad that these riders' lives are so empty that they need to put themselves into a dangerous situation to get a kick out of life.
Hey ByeCruelWorld....nice name by the way...what does you therapist say about that? I too work in the medical field and have seen my share of Trauma. These guys might be a tad nuts, but you Sir, should spend less time being safe and live life!
MiataSteve, my nick wasn't chosen exactly. I tried to sign up for a yahoo account with twenty nicks that were all already taken. In resignation, and just about to go to MSN, I typed byecruelworld and ironically it worked.
As to your point, you can live life to the full and be perectly safe; danger is not necessary for elation. That is reserved for idiots with half a brain who don't know how to get it any other way. You've seen trauma, but have you lived with it for the rest of your life?
Hmmm... I used to have a job helping disabled people. Two of the guys had self-inflicted motorbike injuries (ie. going too fast) in their twenties and will spend the rest of their (shortened) lives being washed, dressed, fed, toileted and wheeled about by other people. Once you've seen the outcome of the injuries at this speed, it is simply not worth the risk.
Dude, You ask any racer that has sumcombed to a life effecting injurie during racing and he will tell you if he had the chance he would go racing again, This isnt just a passion, this is there life, Road racing on bikes has gota be the biggest thrill on earth, and thats coming from a car racer. Whats the point in living if your not going to do what you want and love.

There's only one great road race in Spain and it's one of the best in the world. It's called "GP of La Bañeza".
4 categories race on the streets of the town: GP 125, PreGP 125, Classics 2-strokes & Classics 4-strokes

I think that you misunderstood me

It is one thing to race on a close circuit (road course or race track) and another to race and dodge through traffic and do wheelies.
and like TroubledMindz said, its what some people want to do, its what they live for. The Isle of Mann races.
I am not for street racing and dodging through traffic .

nevermind isle of man cum 2d real road racing here in ireland we'l show u how 2ride its all balls out!!!!!!
seanexup1000 4 years ago
No arguements from me! Get behind Cammy D No.86 he deserves the recognition of being close to the quickest roadracer still racing!
