true, i mean, it more of a zombie/witchcraft type of game. the reason is the realist gameplay. doom 1 and 2 were unexplained, arcade types.

Doom 3 is a remake of 1, and doom 4 is will be a remake of 2. Thats why doom was so hard to understand until 3, but still, the classic hell barons scare the shit out of me lol

The music and design of this game is truly good.

The 2D sprites were flat, but the artwork truly shined. It looked so close to real you'd almost think it would be plausible. Doom really is a good FPS. But I like Doom3 more because I'm more of a horror fan.

Still, I really wanted to know the real back stories of Doom 1 and 2.
