@imnodoubtflatout The 360usb pro gives you sata to usb to allow you connect the drive to your laptop.The ck3 lite is for powering the drive using a molex power supply.

Can i flash my Hitachi 360 drive with a Compaq windows vista laptop.

How big is the file for the 79 unlock? I tried burning twice but I think my problem is that the cds I'm using are too small. THey are 700MB. The file says 705,600. Is this correct? Also, I'm using 360 lizard if anybody knows what this is.

Im using a sata to usb and my windows 7 running 32bit system my computer wont seem to get it starting error code reads (Error device cannot start) Code 10) So i used JungleUSB to try an update the driver so it will work and it ses i cant do it because im running 32bit system i red u can do this with Windows xp 32bit Is there ANYway i can get around this without windows xp?

if u bought the adapter of a modding website the chances are the usb to sata adapter has compatable chip connecting the sats and usb because otherwise windows is not compatable with the dvd drives firmware

i have tried with my usb to sata cable and booted into mode b rebooted the pc after using slax . unlocked using the 79 cd and when i try to dump it says ram upload failed ... any ideas

Yes but this usb to sata doesn't require you to have your 360 powered up while you use it, it's also allows you to put data onto your 360's HDD without having to open up your computer to power it.
