The book of Act is about 20 years after Jesus died and Pauls letters start about 52 AD. so 20 years and by eye witness accounts after 25 years. Know they history and then you can make qualified comments. Both the Gospel of John and Matthew are by eye witness.

Look at the Gospel John at the end of chapter 20, 21 it tell why he wrote the books and attests to what he saw. Look at Second Peter 1:16-18, Peter says that he saw Jesus on the mountain transformed. @spareaxe the book has a very valid and detailed event by event of what happen to Jesus and the first believers in Jesus as God's son. The history is quite complete and is the best attested facts of ancient history. The collection of books is quite real and even the deepest skeptics accept Jesus as very real. @spareaxe First, you need to know your history. Jesus never wrote one thing that is in the bible. Paul, John, Matthew and Luke are writers that live during Jesus life time and wrote eye witness accounts of the events. The bible is not a single book but is mutliple books that were put together that is called the bible. So the old and new testament have around 90 some books by differenct people that records differenct events over about a 2,000 year period of time.

The Jews could not kill anyone when Rome ruled only Rome could. Nazareth was started around 800 bc and was quite alive and well from Jewish archeological digs of the last 40 years. The book of Act is about 20 years after Jesus died and Pauls letters start about 52 AD. so 20 years and by eye witness accounts after 25 years. Look at the Gospel John at the end of chapter 20, 21 it tell why he wrote the books and attests to what he saw. Look at Second Peter 1:16-18, Peter says that he saw Jesus on the mountain transformed. Paul, John, Matthew and Luke are writers that live during Jesus life time and wrote eye witness accounts of the events. The bible is not a single book but is mutliple books that were put together that is called the bible. So the old and new testament have around 90 some books by differenct people that records differenct events over about a 2,000 year period of time.

Now Luke is a traveling companion of Paul the last Apostle and is a Greek medical doctor who travels with Paul from 50AD to 62AD. Jesus did live and breath and Jesus rose from the dead. Bart Ehrman even agree that is what History has recorded. Just because the history has been put into one book does not make it invalid, nor does it make it perfect either. the bible is just the collection point.

the love for their religion create a hate to anyone that reject it. How can anyone come up with anything new about religion without be persecuted , it happened all scientists too, just to study something and explain it with something other then God and they was tortured and killed.

What you say simply isn't true! I used to be Xian and talked exactly the same way you are now. Just 5 yrs ago, I started to really study my religion for the 1st time. I'm now an atheist.
It's a simple matter of truth vs. preconceived beliefs & teachings. For me, the truth is paramount. Nothing else matters.
As many have said, and it is so true, the surest way to becoming an atheist is to study scripture. I'd also have to add; study the early church, and earliest Judaism too.

Your belief is hinged on what a book says. If you believe the bible to be absolute truth, then you'd have to have a problem with the Qu'ran, and vice versa. Here's why. Truth can only be one story, and both of them can't be truth.

I have no problem with Allah. If you read carefully in Genesis you may discover that God made also a covenant for the descendants of Ishmael. I think the Arab people have been maligned by too many stereotypes and even some Christians see in them just the negative aspects of propaganda agaist them. They are also descendants of Abraham and inheritors of some promises made by God to them. God bless you!

@Cristoamistad - But you'd have to have a problem with Allah, as the Qu'ran is the main way of knowing anything about Him. The biblical Jesus, and the Qu'ran Jesus are different characters. The Qu'ran doesn't encourage belief in Jesus as a God, or God's Son, like the bible does. How can you have an accurate knowledge of Jesus, if you can except both of these different teachings?

@Cristoamistad - If you read carefully in Genesis, you'll see that it is an astrological story. SIGNS in the moon, sun, and stars? That's where Israel comes from. Genesis chapt 49 has Jacob prophecying as to his 12 sons which were to symbolize the 12 tribes of Israel. All that's happening here, is "Jacob" is likening each of them to the already well known 12 house Zodiac. The Lion of Judah is Leo. See if you can figure out the rest. The 4 living creatures? @Cristoamistad - I know you mean well. I used to be a Christian, and I used pure logic and reasoning to figure out the biblical Jesus Christ never existed. I know this, because in order for this biblical Jesus to have been a real human being 2,000+ years ago, he needed to qualify as a RANSOM SACRIFICE. Logic and reasoning will show that he never equated to either.
Just figuring someone had to create everything is weak reasoning...if U were in a land influenced by Islam, Allah would do it 4 U.

I'm often amazed at how little Xians know of their own religion and how they "reason" the existence of god. Tell me, have you considered that the BB was not a creation event?? Many conclude it was, bcuz they can't know of what existed before it, but the BB can be seen as a process of where the universe simply changes from one state into another.
It would help if you studied the entire Judeo-Christian Religion, and not just read select NT verses, then proclaim jesus is god.
