I like your idea! (has it been stable with the wind much?) I usually cut my softdrink bottle in half, then i place one half over one of my seedings, and put them about 1cm into the soil until the seedling is too large to remain living in it.

The subject is awesome and the guy probably had some good points and insight but the camera man sucks (or maybe he/she was day dreaming, who knows)!
We want more details about what he is talking about and how it's done. Something you missed when taking this video.
