Like he said in the description this move is mostly for getting over players who lay out to stop the puck from you and also good for when the goalie drops to spread eagle save or stacks his pads. Other than that, for instance like this video, its very rare to score a goal with this move. He's obviously not the "noooooob" here if you seriously think this is a glitch.
