I've been looking at the different types of single turbo-props a/c, now, with the booming marking in that category, why not just buy the TBM850 or the Krestel, or the Piper Meridian. I mean, i love the C210, but they're hard to get here in Australia, so I guess each pilot needs to move on to the next generation aircraft.
But what you and I don't know is about the recertification of the aircraft. I think when you have such a large change as this recertifying includes airframe and all. I'm not sure you can't fly to top of yellow arc with a change like this. Yes - we all know what redline is - but what about instrument change . . ?.. Contact the video maker if it concerns - I doubt he'd risk a massively expensive rebuild like this.
@MrGhostwhowalks true. I mean legally and safety wise you can fly an aircraft up to redline in smooth air without a problem at all. dont think Ive ever seen an aircraft with a wrong airspeed gauge on it. Im sure Faa doesnt allow that although I havent read that Far. I was just shocked that thats how fast it cruises. I am sure if that the MEL says what kind of gauge it is supposed to have. but any hoot. nice plane!
possibly the best 210 video up on youtube, it sure is a shame that cessna cannot build such an aircraft, my favorite of the light singles. rivals the PC-12 without the gulp
Great plane - best of many worlds: Solid, easy to fly, good payload, nice range, strong and reliable turbine engine, acceptable fuel flow... why can't Cessna build such a plane?? Your camera work is excellent - slow movements and sharp picture. And you show instruments, that are important to us pilots! Keep on posting!
Nice video. You guys are inspiring. I dream of a P210 Silver Eagle. I fly a 172 and would love to get some of the performance you get. One day when I win the lottery!
Please keep posting and nice to see some of the instruments.

I'm not sure redlining the airspeed for the movie is best practice.

What is it like landing on a snow covered runway? Seems like it could be dangerous.

"why can't Cessna build such a plane?"
because it's unprofitable (micro-market)
