i believe! i also eat algae in the form of spiralina and chlorella everyday - it contains an antioxidant called astaxanthin which can save you from getting sunburn
Great video -- keep it up! We need to invest more in these industries but in California, but prop 23 is a threat to those investments. Prop 23 is down in the polls, but the Yes on 23 campaign just got a new influx of hot, anonymous cash, so we'll need to fend them off in the home stretch to Election Day.
Hit me back if you'd like to talk Prop 23. We're coming out with a bunch of great No on Prop 23 videos soon!

Could you possibly articulate more precisely as I’m sure your statement is no doubt derogatory, but is also a little hard to follow. If English is indeed not your native language, as it appears, please forgive any disrespect in pointing out obvious grammar and spelling errors.
I would also like to point out this is an educational video ment inform interested people and there is really no need for such vulgar dislplays.
Algae seems to hold the most promise to meet many needs to include methane gas production for electricity. The combination of algae production & methane biogas is a green way to create endless renewable clean energy for many cities and industries. This technology has attracted companies that need inexpensive CO2 sequestration solutions & renewable energy solutions many application in our world
thanks for the review of algae, i was surprised at the amount of material i remembered for my only reading on algae some 40 years ago as a 13 year old with a set of encyclopedias and no comic books.
Very nice presentation about the "rainbow of algae". An interesting trip into the history of life on earth and the possibilities of biochemistry. I was also impressed by the giant cells algae can have. Thanks for the presentation!
So far, I've seen plenty of videos of this stuff being made, what I would like to see is a video of a car running on it. Is there a video or at least an account of a vehicle running on 100% algae fuel? Thanks.
Solazyme has an industrial process to make Biodiesel from algae right now. They were just purchased by Unilever though, so you can't avoid investing in large corporations run by evil scum (although maybe corporate scum can be converted to oil too ....)
@Taramcgara1, glad we can help!

Thank you. My University cancelled our Algae course. Since this is my area of study - I am always glad to see info "out there" for folks to view.
