They were friends when they were kids (kinda like Hitsugaya & Hinamori)...and back then Rangiku had a small rush on Gin...(kinda like Hitsugaya & Hinamori) until he abandoned her in cold blood to go with Aizen...just like Momo betrayed poor Toshiro by accusing him of Aizen's murder (because of Aizen's letter) without even giving her supposed "best friend" the bebefit of the doubt...plain cruel.

They were both betrayed by the persons they liked...T_T, but they have eath other^^

the problem with hitsuhina is momo luvs aizen, hitsu is like a brother to her, and tite kubo says hias fav female characters are matsumoto and yoroichi. hitsumatsu, however, screams love story. matsumoto needs to get over gin, and hitsugaya is always there for her, and the other way around.and in the 2nd move, which girl is seen the most??? matsumoto. but i love momo. she my fav character,but i perfer aihina and hitsumatsu.

I actually prefer this paring to the others. I don't really care about their age difference, because in my opinion it's their personalities that matter - and match perfectly, too. Why Matsumoto? Well, Hinamori is not one of my fav persons after believing Aizen over Hitsugaya, Karin is more like a friend, and as said, I think Matsumoto and Hitsugaya suit each other well. ^^
