  • Can you change the framrate from the camera to shoot in 24p or 30 fps?

  • Hi! I have this Sony HDR CS-105E but I'm new in this domain. What's the best rec mode for HD? HD FH or HD HQ ? I want to rec in 720p :) . Please tell me :) Thanks!

  • Awsome! I'v also bought this camera today!

  • Good video 5 stars!Btw i am using Vegas 9 and i am a bit noob can you tell me what kind of effects i need to use to make the image like a movie stiyle i know it is har without recording in progresive mode but can you tellme some settings to emulate this move effect.

Ah and las thing i am gonna but the HDR-CX115 this week the 105 is out of stock, anyway the 115 have x25 optical zoom and better CMOS sensor.. 24Mbps ...

  • Very nice

  • Great video dude, hope you don;t mind me asking, but what is the sound quality like on this camera?

  • Sound quality is good and the stereo spread is very effective. The microphones are sensitive and It does suffer from noise when the wind is up, but then so do most others. For the money this is a very good camera and good fun to use.

  • @vide05 Hi!! Im planning to buy a Sony HDR-CX115 or something like that.. Is it good? And Do you know how many this fps can shoot in?? 60fps would be fine can it do that? :) Reply as fast as you can ! ;) - Oscar

  • How do you render the raw hd footage in vegas and export it like this so it can be uploaded to youtube?

  • How do you set it to 720p mode? I can only see 1080

  • As it says in the note, it was recorded in 1080i and then rendered using Sony Vegas Movie Studio, to 720p. I don't believe there is a 720p mode.

  • I've read great things about this camera and watched lots of good videos but I am still slightly unsure that should I buy this. I am interested of shooting some videos with lots of fast moving objects (motorsports) . Do you think this camera can handle it ?

  • Best test shots seen so far.. Great camera! Ordered it 5 min ago and I cant wait...

  • Seems like a really good camera! =D

    Also a great video!

Do you use Sony Vegas 9 for the rendering, editing++?

  • Thanks, the camera is excellent and a joy to use. Yes, I use Sony Vegas 9, as it does not re-compress the footage, except where needed such as titles, mixes and effects. Thanks for the comment and happy new year.

  • you are SO much better than those nature filmers from...whats it called.... BBC

  • I have the same camera. What did you use to render your videos? I've tried numerous apps and always lose a lot of quality.

    Thanks.

  • try premiere pro cs3 or cs4

  • I'm using premiere pro CS4. Still don't know why my encodes come out looking so washed out and soft.

  • when you create a new project in premiere pro you have to set the max resolution that your camera can have

  • Take a look at Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum.

It does not re-compress the footage except for sections where effects or titles are added.

There is a trial version available.

    Hope that helps.

  • Thanks, I'll look into it!

  • Good camera !!

    i buy this soon..

    =)
