What makes you say that? You can make similar tunes with Reason or Cubase too.

Reason is pretty wank for sound unless you are re-wiring it through another program, or mixing down each channel seperatly and then mastering in another program like Adobe Audition.

Fruity Loops has to be pretty much the best for PC, and Logic is obviously industry standard, but on mac only.

You know you can re-wire reason through FL aswell... Ableton is more for mixing sets n what not. A bit of a different approach. Cubase is alright, best for recording. Its all about preferences and what you've gotten used to.

Fair mate, but remember there are plenty of synths you can buy and download. Reason cannot use any external synths or VST's. FL can. You can download tons of synths and effects for FL. You want to be using synths like Massive, Blue, Albino 3, Predator, SynPlant etc etc etc.
