@mickeyb1000 12 root canals??? 11 fillings?? 7 extractions??? What, poor soul, did you do to your teeth? Even if you survived on Twinkies and never brushed, you don't deserve a year like that!

extractions in life so far: none but need 4-5

cavities-17 my whole life, 11 still need fixed

root canals-2 but need 2 more

fillings- 6 or 7 and still need two done. One also needs replaced.

The injections hurt, the after pain of all of the procedures hurt. :( But it was my first time back to the dentist after four years when a previous silver filling broke.

I wore braces from 6 years to 10 years

And honestly, I miss them

It wasn't bad

And lol...I will go to the dentist on 1st April....

0 everthing im doing good but im 11 years old and i have braces-the top four only for 6 months and i only brush about 1 time in the day only at night and my teeth arent yellow they are kinda white

I don't know just how many fillings I have--all my molars have them. As a kid I seemed to always be getting cavities. I had a root canal when I was about 10 and another when I was 21. I knocked out a tooth and had to have a cap placed on the stub(but not an implant). My old fillings (or the teeth themselves) have broken over time--I don't mind too much because I prefer the new white fillings over the old amalgam fillings. I have not had any new cavities for at least 15 years.

Ouch! That's totally unfair to have so many tooth problems, especially when you are brushing so diligently. I wonder what the differences are between people with good teeth and bad teeth--is it the tooth structure? Is it different bacteria living in the mouth? Whatever it is, you were dealt a poor hand. Sorry about that...

Hey.

I am in my 23's.

I have by my dentist done: 11 fillings, 2 root canals, 1 bridge, 3 implants, and 5 extractions (2 for braces). My teeth are really bad.

I don't smoke, I brush them 3 times per day but they still are bad. Every year I have a problem with my teeths.

When I was ~13 i had ~5 fillings only and about 2 extractions for braces.

Tomorrow I'll visit my dentist for my 12' filling :D

aaahhhh im going to the dentist tmrw to get 2 fillings...im scared. mostly its just the needle part. i HATE needles.....ugh.

crazy. U need to go to the dentist every 6 month. That is much better. I wasn't for 2 years and went today and had 3 (!!!!) cavities to get filled, that was so crazy.

The most important thing when you clean your teeth.... FLOSSING!!!!!! Guys... its getting rid of those little bits of food around the gumline... thats the key.. brushing cant get rid of it.. Flossing does.. Cuz when food get trapped in those bits, that will form the plague, then tartar.. then decay... Really, it happened to me.. Most people brush but dont floss... when flossing is most important.. I always floss now..

Going to the Dentist does not bother me. The only thing i dont like is the drill that makes u feel like ur brain is gonna pop out.. not the fine the smooths the cavity out but the chunky one that makes the hole, other than that im ok with dentists.
