i want to find an elan and cram a huge ass motor in it.

i got 2 engines sitting in my basement i can use, 1 is a Arctic Cat 600 from a 98 ZR with fuel injection and the other is a 700 twin from a 94 ZR.

my other crazy though was to use a thundercat 900 triple.

imagine 175+hp in an elan. lmao

now i just need an elan.

I've often thought of doing something similar to that, but Elan's are too hard to come by, so I figured maybe a late 80s Skidoo Citation? Like the ones that came stock with the 250cc F/C single, they looked like a short track Tundra iirc.

Try the Rotax 294 from an Elan SS or Citation 300. 343's are junk compared to the 294. The 294 is 5 port, more compact and lighter. The 377 Citation SS motor would be a nice upgrade for an Elan if you could get the right pipe stuffed in there. A 73' TNT 340 pipe might flow decently and fit.
