I do agree with the fact that this is a lovely song but I disagree with you when you say that the Islamic regime was forced upon us. I am not sure how old you are and how much you know or remember about the all of those changes that happened in Iran in 70's and 80's. 2 days ago i was with sattar in birmingham talked to him and shaking his hand . he gave a free ticket to his concert . the concert which was organized by iranian people in birmingham .

2 days ago i was with sattar in birmingham talked to him and shaking his hand . he gave a free ticket to his concert . the concert which was organized by iranian people in birmingham .

His voice is the best I ever heard, aside from Ofra Haza who was a legendary Israeli singer of my country.
I am Jewish living in Haifa, Israel, but like to listen to music from all over the world.
So much beauty of Iran, I feel that it is truly a blessed nation.

Thank you for the kind words. There are so many hatefull and unpleasant words being exchanged these days that this wams up my heart. Iranians are pround and cultured people who feel they've got the short end of the stick in this world. I grew up in Iran listening to Sattar before the revoluotion and his voice takes me back to a place that I wish still existed.

Believe it or not, the correct form of this word is Parsi. After Arabs attacked Iran, our language has changed a lot; that includes either entering Arabic words into Parsi, or transforming our pronunciations of words. Remember Arabs don't have the "p" sound in their language. Actually I remember there was a show named "Parsi Ra Pas Bedarim" in Iran TV.

Zendehbad Sattar and Iran. We have lost our country for now but, we will never lose our culture and heritage. It has been over thirty years since I have left Iran and there has not been a day that I do not think about my childhood and my homeland. I miss her and one day I hope to return when we rid ourselves from these mullahs. Zendehbad Iran, Democracy and Mousavi.
