great song. even though the more Christian parts do nothing for me, it been oddly comforting to listen to this over and over after my aunt died.

Caroline's voice and her songs exhibit a depth of compassion and empathy rarely heard in music of any kind these days. I have absolutely fallen in love with this woman's art, she is nothing short of amazing.

Caroline Herring is a welcome addition to the Southern body of music. Anybody who lists Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams, Tammy Wynette, and Waylon Jennings as an influence diserves a listen. Her critics don't get it. She is inspired like the Poetown Ramblers and Jim Thompson in Decatur Georgia.
