There was no train coming on that track at the time. When there's no train coming, for some reason the signal on that track flashes yellow and the second track is solid yellow when nothing is coming.

I drove over a crossing before and the lights were Green for both tracks and i think thats like a red for nothings coming so i didnt know if anything was coming.

It means advance approach, be prepared to stop at the second signal. In ABS systems (automatic block signals) If one signal is red the one preceding that one would be approach, and the one before that would be advance approach. It doesn't mean that a train is not coming just that if one was to go through he is not lined up further down the track
