  • U can bet she didn't vote on it...Lmao... She's not well educated on that subject

  • she's a twat

  • girls got no sense of humor

  • hell yeah chong!!

  • Mother Nature is gonna get pissed that we're living in so much denial of her, sooner or later.

  • you can't hate cheech and chong, there just too funny, they were so stoned during this interview

  • I love American News. Never get anything like this over here :(

  • No legalize! it will make the economy worse you dummys only the corps will get rich and all the local growers will lose there job and 95% of the pot is grown here in the us! it wont make it cheaper just get your medical card and your legal!!

  • she seemed so dumb awkward

  • Help Legalize: Vote Now!

The Top Ten Ideas will be presented to the Obama Administration on March 4th.

    change. org/ideas/view/legalize_recrea tional_use_of_marijuana

just take out the space. youtube won't let me post links

  • stupid bitch, learn how to give a proper interview. dumb bitch probably doesnt know the first thing about pot

  • What a bitch

  • She seemed to take offense that republicans were excluded from smoking weed.... I bet she doesn't inhale or swallow.

  • Fair and Balanced my lily white ass.

  • Comment removed

  • haha you have to be 35! :)

  • yo that girl was a bitch! atleast give them some fucking respect it may not be in her favor but what the fuck dont have them on the show if your going to be as big of a cunt as you can on air

  • I'd like to see what skeletons she has in her closet. It's the elitists you have to wonder about.

  • did she seem patronising 2 any1 else?

  • @mycariscrap1 yes she always is. She talks like she is standing on the higher ground (no pun intended), however she is just a talking head regurgitating the same old kind of thinking. And i love how fox news imposes the slogan "fair and balanced" onto other people. First of all, you have to be fair and balanced yourself if you want to hold people to that standard, and fox certainly isn't. Second, STFU Gretchen Caghjdf w/e her name is.

  • @MvNPTI well said on all accounts ッ

  • They're all Rupert Murdoch's hand puppets.

  • yes

  • vaporize..dont smoke

    there...toxins GONE

    I win

    thumb me up?

  • sure. buuuut its still more fun to smoke.

  • cool fox and friends! more stuff like this! Marijuana Legalization is one of the biggest topics in American culture and I think republicans can take back the house by all jumping on this boat :D

  • TruthDroveCove, I'm curious as to how you justify the billions upon billions of dollars the government wastes every year fighting your average "stoner" peacefully sitting on his couch smoking a joint? You talk as if the economy will be worse off if pot is legalized, yet the government wastes BILLIONS every year prosecuting pot smokers. I quite simply do not understand your logic. Government wasting billions every year, yet somehow the economy will be worse by solving this through legalization.

  • real tangible productivity costs in economy while pot mushes mind, dramatic increased costs in health care, worst case- other country, China possibly surpassing U.S. globally, bringing unwanted political consequences... cuzza the "let life pass me by while I get high" stoner on the couch, laughing and grubbing all the way...

  • refer to two genlemanly stoners- cheech and chong- above...,

  • Holly molly, Even I know that Chech and Chong both did way more than just pot. Having seen the news surrounding the arrest of Chong that he fully admitted to other drugs being over done and having lasting effects. I have never seen a list of posts from someone so bent on believing in something that they obviously do not understand. I don't intend to be mean TruthD however You are actually the one causing yourself to stand in an bad light not to mention an person who would think the same.

  • Here you bring to light another truth i have not even began to delve into yet.... evidence-supported TRUTH that pot is, as cliche as it sounds, "a gateway drug." So thanks for now opening up debate into another field that further supports argument against legalization of pot. "...he fully admitted to [OTHER] drugs..."...

  • stupid bitch

  • Doh, those clowns do more harm than good for the legalization process

  • fuck fox

  • she is a tool.

  • does anyone else just wanna slap this bitch? she is so rude

  • @nylar4000 hell yea i wanna smack that puta.

i bet cheech and chong did too haha. and at the end how she says shit about the kids...wat a bitch

  • I'm concerned about how, thru legalizing / making conveniently readily available, more will use and/ or abuse and could substantially negatively impact PRODUCTIVITY of people. We know the effects of BEING STONED. Let's keep it real... So, in practical terms...more stoners equals weaker economy.

  • I'm concerned that you are going to hurt yourself with all that hard thinking you are putting your brain through.

  • TruthDroveCove, It's a shame when people like you open their mouths to spout rhetoric that was debunked back in the 90's . 1st & foremost, It has been proven that rates of use drop with legalization, especially with teens, Ex. Holland, which has seen a minimum of a 50% drop in use. Stats prove it, If you researched before opening your mouth on subjects you know nothing of I wouldn't be typing. Fortunately you are actually in the minority in the USA, & the former minority is on our side now.

  • you wouldn't be typing unless you felt the need to have to counter an argument you felt needed an attempt at countering. LOL. otherwise, why waste your time. LOL. And all the haters will keep "thumbing down" my comments. No matter. Keep on. I'm not here for popularity. Only truth matters to me. That's all that should matter to all. Character- where is it anymore??? LOL

  • More... "Dutch research has however shown that an increase of THC content also increase the occurrence of impaired psychomotor skills, particularly among younger or inexperienced cannabis smokers, who do not adapt their smoking-style to the higher THC content.[27] Closing of coffeeshops is not unique for Rotterdam. Many other towns have done the same in the last 10 years."-sourced Wikipedia entry. Legalized pot getting even MORE popular it seems, huh? (sarcasm) Hahahaha 9^D

  • "A November 2008 poll showed that a 60% majority of the Dutch population support the legalisation of soft drugs. The same poll showed that 85% supported closing of all cannabis coffee shops within 250 meters walking distance from schools.[7]."-cited on Wikepedia. Anyone notice a little...umm..hmmm... what's that word? oh- HYPOCRISY!- here?? LOL

  • Even More... "In 2008, the municipality of Utrecht imposed a Zero Tolerance Policy to all events like the big dance party Trance Energy ....such zero-tolerance policy at dance parties are ...becoming common in the Netherlands and... stricter in cities like Arnhem. The two towns Roosendaal and Bergen op Zoom announced in October 2008 that they would start closing all coffee shops, each week visited by up to 25000 French and Belgian drug tourists, with closures beginning in February 2009.[28]

  • again... sourced citations from Wikipedia

  • Bottom line- folks have been given "free will" to 'toke up' if that "does it for them." You can keep it in private, though, or face the law. Crossing the line is putting forth that we'd all be better if it was legal. You must somehow prove that stance: facts, facts, facts only. You all have burden of proof. So far, it's a "no go." I don't see it ever getting legalized in the U.S. But, hey, if you want to make it your life's work to push that agenda, do it.... if you like losing battles...

  • Next, WE know effects of being stoned? who is WE & where is your evidence? Is that something you heard on Broadcast News? Yes, I see now, you don't have a though of your own to hold. You failed. Fact, If someone is going to be lazy they will be lazy either way be it beer, pot, coke, no matter what you chose or nothing at all. Fact, do you know the huge number of highly successful pot smokers in the USA alone, obviously not because your source of indoctrination failed (also) to include any TRUTH

  • I need a book to tell me something I've seen first hand??? LOL Okay, continuing making yourself out to be foolish... keep insisting or dodging the fact the pot undeniably slows one's wits down. if lazier, will be lazier. duh. "Indoctrination" cause i can observe things with my own eyes?? LOL. pathetic. Oh "I failed." LOL Great arguments there buddy LOL

  • Lastly, TruthDroveCove. It is apparent now to everyone that your Choice of name in combination with your use any statement meant to be held true is nothing more than an Oxymoron in concept and a waste of everybody's time, both yours & mine & for that matter anyone unfortunate to read it. So please in practical terms , think before you try to talk shit against any group of which you know nothing about besides that which you were told to believe without taking the time to research a single fact

  • Wow. Pretty hateful stuff from "Holistic..." Not too surprised. I find your "stat" of 50% less users in Holland intriguing. Who's the source? On the surface, how could they positively know correct number of users BEFORE legalization? How can one prove direct correlation with that one example? Who are these exceptional potheads you claim but don't cite? How EXACTLY is my opinion EMPIRICALLY DEBUNKED. One can make all the claims he wants; still, they must be supported thru CITATION.

  • I feel said nothing "Hatefull" & only Truthful. Again I will state that You need to do research & as you began with lack there of I feel no obligation to do so for you. Your questioning of numbers before/after is something you should be asking yourself regarding your own statements. I'll advise you to google legalization of drugs in holland & resulting effects, find any non media opinion . Correlation can be found as the dutch did it as an experiment with intent & % is % regardless of location.

  • Simply, google is your source? that's best you can do: google. No trustworthy research institute, even gov't census, or something comparable that's legitimate... JUST google?: pretty pathetic. you come up w/ 50% stat, and claim to have the truth, you really ought to be able to specifically name your source other than "Google": pretty laughable...

  • Successful potheads, again Google, if you want public knowledge. VeryImportantPotheads for instance. I could cite you name after name from my personal life but success does not = fame, I will tell you this much about myself, my friends & family, At 31 years old I assure you that having smoked my entire adult life I have not had a lazy day or one lacking productivity and the same can be said of them too. Your "opinion" which you still have not substantiated? yeah

  • Pretty simple: ask someone which doctor one would want do operate on him: marijuana smoker or non-. "yeah." You're not keeping it real, man. You haven't even addressed the truth that smoking marijuana DOES SLOW folks down. You DENYING that makes you lose ALL CREDIBILITY. Therefore, pot-smoking populace = less productive, The U.S.A. is great NOT cause of pot-smokers. Just facts...

  • Again say the same for alcohol man. But realistically is a good DR going to operate drunk or hung over no (does smoking pot leave you hung over no) , would a good DR go operate when stoned, no . did I deny something ? no . infact i make as close a connection with a legal substance which is far more detrimental in every way. so my credibility is quite intact and you need a long moment of self examination in that which makes you so scared of pot smokers.

  • Like I said, the subtle, but HUGELY IMPORTANT difference between alcohol and drugs like marijuana is IDENTIFICATIONABILITY (I think I might have just made that word up but I think the points made) Despite your story of drunk uncle at NBC, the FACT is, a DRUNK CAN BE IDENTIFIED QUITE IMMEDIATELY, WHERAS SOMEONE HIGH ON POT CANNOT IMMEDIATELY BE INDENTIFIED. Therefor, people, being human, will stretch the limits of being covertly HIGH ON POT far as they can, meanwhile hurting productivity.

  • You are so uninformed , george washington , thomas jefferson (and many more ) all smoked smoked and preferred it in some cases to alcohol. in addition Cannabis Hemp was a key to this countries independence and success. GOOGLE. I am done as this is a waste because you continually spout rhetoric about that which you simply have not done any research on as such you are the one lacking credibility. Peace , knowledge and he process of gaining it will set you free from your fears that are unfounded.

  • Having a hard time following the debate??? The topic is LEGALIZATION, not recreational use... You keep putting forth claims like washington and jefferson smoked, but don't have ANY reliable source CITED. LOL. ANYone can do that. And, importantly, having smoked on occasion is not SAME as being a REGULAR SMOKER, or pothead...

  • To the person who clicked this post as spam, remember false spam accusations are looked on just as bad as spam its self.....so by all means keep up your games. Peace

  • LOL.... "VeryImportantPotheads"!!! You're kidding, right? That website's full of people paid to entertain, or amuse, the masses. Yeah-they're real vital to society. It also posts Gingrich and Sarah Palin. What a joke!! LOL Yeah, REAL CREDIBLE SOURCE you got there, Holistic. As if Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin are actually potheads. Man, you've really revealed some strong evidence with that one. Please, keep your "solid" sources coming. You've gotta educate me! Hahahahahaha..LOL...

  • I wish you could hear me laughing at you right now. I couldn't resist coming back for one last look and it was worth it. VIPH was given to you as a reference on your level of knowledge LoL and not surprising that you would cite palin without taking the underlying point, people of power were at the least at some point smokers. and again you proved that you don't want to do your own research including on your original statements. have fun debating with yourself lol

  • What a beautiful argument you have, Holistic!! How could I have missed it. Of course!! Because almost every human has been BAD, oh, Naughty, naughty.. he he he. and hit a joint here and there maybe even a blunt, a pipe, or even a BONG, whoah, like Michael Phelps, for instance, they all MUST spoke pot RELIGIOUSLY!!! Yes, of course! Silly me. And, OF COURSE, THAT's whey pot should be legalized!!!! Of course, that's why COCAINE SHOULD BE LEGAL, TOO, THEN. YES, I CANNOT WAIT!!! 8^D

  • I'm not claiming to KNOW the result of marijuana legalization. I can only predict based on observations I've had. Those are... that folks I know who don't smoke or before or after being a habitual "toker" are generally more productive citizens than "potheads" or those I know that started or went back to smoking marijuana habitually. Denying that marijuana truly does generally cause someone to function more "laid back" would be flat out dishonest. The thought of stoned EMERGENCY personnel???

  • oh please , the same could be said of alcohol man, it's legal far more harmful with greater effects on cognitive ability in addition to effects on equilibrium (which pot does not do ) and that is Legal now, but do you see Emergency services going around drunk? no because that would be stupid and we have Laws and regulations to prevent that, why would a they be more inclined to smoke and work, simple they wouldn't, pot would be no different as would the consequences (well likely lesser effects

  • So, for the sake of making pot smoking legal, spend LOTS more money on resources to keep folks from being high on the job and/or while operating any machinery that could hurt someone. Pot's not like alcohol where it'd be pretty obvious someone's intoxicated (smell's hard to hide). Whereas if stoned, will likely have to take blood/urine. Again extra cost in that arena, not to mention potential costs, again, to productivity and, worst cases, injury and/or death cause by being stoned...

  • ohhh so now the lazyness and lack of producivity is soooooo terrible but yet nearly im[possible to distinguish from normal behavior that it isn't apparent to those in direct contact and will need a huge cost in testing individuals (violation of rights IMO) to keep us safe. What the heck lol i'll just pee in a cup to unlock my front door so you can feel safe. If it was up to you we would live in a damn nanny state. You are that scared and that ignorant of the rights of the citizen, amazing.

  • R u stoned now? I mentioned testing, for EVIDENCE, not random. If someone's been drinking, it can be smelled, and when smelled, tested with breathalizer on spot. It's a deterrent. One would be a fool to go to work drunk. Stoned at work would not be acceptable, but PROVING it would be more difficult. Stoners can hide smell and red eyes with deoderant and Clear Eyes, but HELL YA, if I had a business to run, and I got ANY indication my employee was stoner, MY RIGHT would be to weed him out!

  • Well then if one cant tell if the accused in under the influence by default it would be random, that is your logic acording to your post (don't make me quote you again dude). Am i stoned ? NOPE I'm under no influence other than truth and knowledge of the Facts which prove you wrong again and again so yeah , is that how you will justify a test ? randomly asking , *hey buddy, ARE YOU Stoned?? oh I bet you are , you must be,,, GET the cup, Draw some blood, Pluck his Hair" ...Reefer Fucking Maddness

  • You know what , I've owned small buisnesses and a very large buisness and guess what , I've hired stoners and drinkers that were smarter and more knowledgable and better debaters of any topic than you , so (making the assumption since you did to me and my current state of mind) you being a drinker I wouldn't even hire you as your way of hinking would lose me more money than someone relaxed and open mined ,,,, ok now I'm really done, I can't sit here proving your ignorance all night. Peace

  • ...And if marijuana got legalized, COSTS of just constantly having to sift through the potheads, alone, would dramatically increase. And as I suspected, even before looking it up and saying I didn't KNOW, now I have EVIDENCE supporting my theory of dramatically increased costs. See, those with COMMON SENSE, or WISDOM, need NOT RELY on SELECTIVE, SPUN STATISTICS... CHECK, HOLISTIC: "Netherlands has a high anti-drug related public expenditure,......"

  • Generalized stat, "Drugs" that would likely not be in reference to use of Pot by those of legal age and citizenship to said country. Nor those who are following the regulations set up by the government...... yawn , at least you tried, not that it's saying much, but I'll give you an E for effort but this is Pass or Fail so E is closer to F in your case. Later. Peace. Knowledge is the Key.

  • Sure, dismiss it. I'm not surprised you would. Only, what's the one conspicuous variable that makes holland different. hmmm. oh. excuse me for pointing out that it's POT, and costs for drug enforcement or second highest in world only to other liberal state, Sweden. Oops. I'll try not to punch more holes in your theory, sir...

  • Oh and hmmm. I'm sure saying pot smoking is "okay" won't at all then cause health care costs to rise... NO WAY! My logic has GOT to faulty, RIGHT?! LOL

  • Even if you state of fear was realized the cost savings from fighting the unjustified war on pot (drugs for that matter would cover that many times over). and your argument of Alcohol influence being hard to hide is flawed , example my uncle who worked for NBC and was DRUNK and had black outs when writting for Decades and was NEVER suspected.

  • CITATION cont'd.. Holland...".....the second highest drug related public expenditure per capita of all countries in EU (after Sweden)." -This is on LIBERAL Wikipedia, even... You keep TOKIN UP :) I'll keep SERVIN UP TRUUUTHSSZZ!!! that WILL SHOW WHY LEGALIZING MARIJUANA, IN THE BIG PICTURE, THE ONLY PICTURE THAT MATTERS, WOULD BE DETRIMENTAL TO SOCIETY

  • and btw you did claim to know the end result , hmmmm *We know the effects of BEING STONED. Let's keep it real... So, in practical terms...more stoners equals weaker economy.* mmmmmmm hmmmm yup that is a Claim to know and only now you try to take a opinionated stance , no , sorry dude , that doesn't float. I'm finished here you proved my point enough. Peace,

  • Or should I say (in your case) That Doesn't Fly :P PUN INTENDED ;)

  • "Holistic"- I DON'T CARE IF YOU STOP REPLYING TO MY COMMENTS, SO YOU CAN STOP REPEATING THAT YOU'RE GOING TO. IF I FEEL LIKE IT, I'LL JUST KEEP POSTING TRUTHS THAT COULD SHRED YOUR WHOLE WORLD VIEW THAT MARIJUANA SHOULD BE LEGALIZED. I've already provided stat that Netherlands has 2nd highes cost per capita towards drug-related law enforcement. So, POOF goes your claim that costs will drop with legalization. I KNOW, FACTS REALLY HURT THE CAUSES OF FOLKS LIKE YOU...

  • "in practical terms" means "logically" which then leads to my opinion, of course. Nowhere did I say I KNOW, as much as you'd like to discredit me. However, I can continue to provide evidence supporting my theory, to include Holland's experiment. Put up against your FOUNDATIONLESS CLAIMS, will, I'm guessing will obliterate your stance on marijuana legalization.

  • I'm Not a Pot Smoker and Never Have. I am also Not a Drinker Though I have Drank many times. I feel I am not Bias to say this. TurthD, You seriously have a need to get some education in the history of several things. Prohibition and I do not mean just drugs but all instances in the US history not to mention US history in general. The scientific studies about Marijuana and how they prove your concerns invalid and Civil/constitutional Rights and when to Realize you're very wrong.

  • your side of argument is like broken record. it's easy to say: history, science, I am uneducated, while, all the while, you all have not ONCE cited credible source to prove otherwise.... That society would benefit overall by pot legalization. The burden is on your side of argument...

  • So because we disagree in topic at hand, resort to namecalling... Hmm. ... where have I seen that before, and WHAT kind / typed of person resorts to such?? LOL I need not say anymore on that. Your approach to the discussion, by smearing speaks volumes. Maybe you'll learn to more civil and try focussing on addressing the debate on hand...

  • Hey- great arguments. Just insult the individual! That always makes you REALLY credible. LOL...

  • What are we talkin about i forgot?

  • Really awkward interview.

  • Republicans like pot too.

  • Cocaine, at times, too. That mean they should be LEGALIZED, though??

  • Comedic duo on Garden State's legalization of medical marijuana in New Jersey. Their GET IT LEGAL tour stars in late January.

For more on the heroic struggle, check out the great movie aka Tommy Chong, available at amazon and the site akatommychong com

  • First, her expressions speak clear to the stereotype associated wtih her hair color and no different than that of cheech and chong being stoners. ... "I wasn't going to mention it but " (i wrote it down here in my list of things to say and wasted no time blirting it out) . .... Parents and kids oh the kids blah blah, such a tired statement, Legalize & Regulate, Then worry about kids goes out the window because just like alcohol and tobacco the kids will be carded, can't say with prohibition.

  • People shouldn't smoke ANYTHING and shouldn't BINGE DRINK, but I will defend their right to because, In America, people should have the right to do what they want with their bodies (excluding abortion because thats murdering an unborn human)

BUT, its NOT the governments place to play health dictator or parent state. It should be up THE INDIVIDUAL! THATS THE AMERICAN WAY!

So I say legalize it and let natural selection take its course "weeding out" the weak, the stupid, and the bingers.

  • Well said! I couldn't have said it better. I don't smoke, drink or take marijuana but if someone else wants to, then by all means that is their right

  • @ArchetypeX

If only there were more like you with such a fair minded way of thinking . but on the same note, if only there were less like you so willing to make quippy remarks like "weeding out" or as the title including the term "Blazing" about the most ridiculously restrictive MMJ law yet. remarks like that actually serve nothing more but to lower your own bar and are unnecessary , especially when you look at all the evidence about smoking it and that you don't have to smoke it to use it.

  • Sorry If I offended you, and I see where you are coming from, but my point was if one wants to live an unhealthy lifestyle thats their choice. I have nothing against people who smoke/drink minimally or in moderation. The weak idiots who cant control themselves and are addicted to either made their choice, but why should I care? I have seen lives ruined thanks to both. My disdain is with weak slobs, not weed. I LOVE beer, but I never drink in excess: Respect the beer and it will respect you

  • @ArchetypeX , I love it when I can agree in concept with people of differing opinions (only difference in this case seems to be the first and last letter WeeD - BeeR ). No offense taken at all, And my apolgies for taking your unintended pun in the wrong regard. I can only attribute it to the overload of intended puns put forth by the media over the last few months. Respect (insert noun) and Respect is found in return. Keep up the excellent posts. Peace

  • @HolisticPlantHealth I take the whole thing about criminalizing beer as a joke but I do know what they mean, or what they mean to me. Alcohol is the only legal intoxicant that is recognized in the US. I really resent that. I cannot use alcohol due to my health. Why should alcohol be the only available intoxicant? Personally I prefer reefer. There is always some hyperexagerated harm that keeps a host of drugs illegal. But no one looks at the damage alcohol has done to our society.

  • Oh, and I know my pun was cheesy, but in all honesty it ended up in there without even realizing it was a pun until I re-read my comment. so again sorry.

  • I consider myself to be a firm conservative but I consider marijuana one of the issues I am more open to. Despite my mixed and open feels on marijuana its people like these two clowns that are hurting any sort of reform on the issue. Like CounterZeitgeist said, these two are acting like legitmate crackheads. Complete idiocy is not the answer to getting something done in politics.

  • @MapleMeadows

Some good points but I think the blame falls on the questions asked and the format posed by the interviewer as well as the choice to (in part) promote a comedy act as opposed to having guests to interview who can site creditable evidence to argue the case of legalization on all levels and aspects. oh and "crackheads" bad comparison , I'm sure you could do better.
