just so you know i think that Mary B. is so lucky because your so hot! (just so you know your luck too because so is she) I like your hair....and everyone changes so you gauges don't matter
Even though people talk mad smack about David Lynch.... Mulholland Drive was my Foxfire. I remember that brain-buzz, hah! Being quite emotional in the movie theater, sitting there with my brothers and sisters around me, trying not to cry too hard because I'd just had an epiphany! :)
"Foxfire, and Miss Angelina Jolie. Cheers to you."
I just loved that. I love the Dove things because they are so positive what they say. So it is like 'Don't feel guilty about this chocolate, here's a messege to love yourself better'.
I am always afraid of asking a question for you because I am never sure what has or hasn't been descussed here on the beaver bunch, so I think I might wait until I've been through the archives and then ask later. But you are cool.
I came out to my best friend today. So nerve-racking, although I've been chill with telling everyone for about a year. It was so great, she was totally awesome with it. And then with that 'I just told someone I'm gay and they're cool with it'-high, I blurted to my 13 year old brother I'm gay. HE WAS SUPPORTIVE. :)
Hello, Beavers! Here's a topic-related question: I went with several of my peers this weekend from Wisconsin to the National Equality March in Washington D.C. and it was amazing! Were any of you there, and what are your responses to it? Keep being awesome!

JESS! your realization is so similar to mine, except for me, it was Willow and Tara (mostly Willow) during my first-ever viewing of Buffy the Vampire Slayer when I was 14...which happened during a sleepover with a girl who happens to both be my best friend and still doesn't know I'm gay. oh well
That's why both you and Mary B are perfect for each other... who doesn't love the Dove Chocolates? I once tried to collect and make a collage of all my favorite promise notes, but I kept getting the same ones over and that foil just rips so easily. I gave up for now, but one day, oh one day I will do it!
Nice shirt ;).
I hope all is well with you two & the West, the East misses you both!
I'm hoping it will snow tons over here this winter, since I am planning on going up North for the holidays it would be nice to see a good snow. Last time I seen snow was New Years Eve at Central Park last year. You want to talk about breath taking.
I'll do my best to make sure it snows at Thanksgiving just for you. I'll call my native friends and have them do a snow dance just for the two of you.
really? rainbow usually represents gay? hahaha... i remember way back in elementary i own a rainbow colored suspenders, take note suspenders, for that time i thought its cool. hehehe.,. i didn't know im gay back then. until now.
I love the story with your mom, I never get tired of hearing it.
Foxfire was basically all subtext, I always wonder what it's like to "discover a gay movie" nowadays where the movies can just be totally open about it, no subtext necessary (easier I guess.. but half of the magic is gone :p )
Let us know how the ear-shrinking goes!! I've always wondered how much they really shrink. XD
Wow! Someone else who remembers what VHS is!! Haha~
I think it was my 15th birthday... I spent all day watching t.A.Tu. videos on YouTube. I watched V for Vendetta too, which has an awesome lesbian side-story.
I hadn't really noticed gay people before that and was subliminally questioning my sexuality for a long time since then. XDD
That's true about coming out for the rest of our lives. :-D
I went to the video store, which had dvds, and my little sister picked up some lame spy movie and I was like oh sure. So we watched it and it was super gay, it was DEBS. Before watching this movie I had only heard of gay people in a negative way and I even thought they were messed up. I guess that DEBS opened my eyes to the fact that gay people were normal and that I could totally become a spy. It took another year to figure out I was gay, but I think seeing that movie helped a lot
No Way. So the summer I was 14 I was up at my cottage watching TV all by myself and this movie came on. I started watching it, and it blew my mind and changed my life. Basically kind of the same thing as what happened to you. I never knew what the movie was though. After watching this video I looked up Foxfire online and that was the movie! How crazy is that?!
Lord! I know what you mean about coming out everyday. A necessary part of any conversation about relationships. Sometimes the pronoun juggling just gets a bit old.
