thank u soo much dude!! you made the point clear with very illustrative and relatable demon!..keep up the good work. Will deifinitely be coming back for more videos and subscribe to your channel!
The regular gym goer will gain much more strength from performing a compound movement rather than an isolated movement. Plus you look more badass standing with heavy weights than doing douchy bodybuilding isolation excercises with dumbbells. There is no way to cheat on military press unless you are push pressing.
please answer this, why wouldn't you do an arnie press while ingaging in this excercise? wouldn't it be the most beneficial for all the according movement your doing?
i notice your left arm doesn't go as low as your right @ the bottom of the shoulder press movement...they are not really parallel to eatch other. Hope your right shoulder is not bigger than your left..
@MetaIhead89 It will help to develop your front and side delts. In turn it will be a great movement to add some mass onto your shoulders and give you some more "width"!
@xr3n3g4d3x Standing military press is a great movement, never said it wasn't. In my experience, different exercises "work" differently for different people.
@MuscleLibraryTV Which would you recommend for optimal muscle growth, dumbbell or barbell? Standing or sitting? Any other factors that come in to play?
@xr3n3g4d3x that makes absolutely no sense. that's like saying that a barbell bench press is better than dumbbell benching. a military press with a barbell is worse for your shoulder joints which isn't worth it. only thing standing does is make you use your core more in order to maintain balance.
Great job making a "How to vid" with clear instructions and camera angles. Many other muscle builders just show off how much they can bench with B quality cameras and lighting.
@MLGcodegeassxX I'm not a 100% sure of what you are referring to when you say "lift my arms all the way up" but I'm guessing you mean locking out at the top. If so, then yes, stop the movement short of lockout to keep constant tension on your delts. Please let me know if I misinterpreted your question. Thanks for the question!
@MuscleLibraryTV like the way you did your shoulders i lifted the weights all the way up, but never knew it was better or so I heard lifting it at a certain angle. Does this help?
Good vid dude. Thanks for the reminders.

@MuscleLibraryTV and not everyone should be doing standing military press which relies heavily on thoracic spine flexibility.
