RIP Kurt!! I will always remember Cobain as the FIRST person in my life that understood how I felt and what hell was going on in my head. I then also became a heroin addict which is pretty sad.But it's one of the hardest things I will EVER have to overcome in life!And I am not embarrassed to admit my problems with drugs.The first step is admitting the problem...the rest is the hard part...for me it was at least!I have to add that I have not done H in almost a YEAR now! YAY!

@lmollot I have tried the  "Magnesium/Calcium" deal and it does not effect the opiod receptors in the brain and make the sickness better at all. I might try this one day, but it's most likely some homeopathic Woo bullshit. But I can't really say considering I am not you and do not know how it worked for you. But "taking the drug poison out of the body" is not how detox works. It may alleviate the bodys pain while in withdrawl but for the actual making it better? Its a placebo.

He's right; most opiate users look pretty normal and a lot of them lead ''normal'' lives (but they aren't the most interesting subjects for the press and probably will be maintain anonymous); as long as it is only H they're using that is...poly users (mixing it with coke or pills f.e.) behave and look much different.
