Though I may be young, I listen to these words and can apply it to myself. I look at the girls around me and see how they act. They give in, for that moment of pleasure and gratification. But since when is that right? Could you ever think that this man will keep you after? Is he even a man at all? He's young, foolish, and when he finds someone even easier than you, he'll pass you by. But since when should you give him the chance to pass you anyway?
i am definitely an uncommon woman. i was lucky enough to see this poem being performed as i was travelling at the time. i don't think i have ever been so moved. her and andrea gibson are my heroes

Beautiful, and strong. I tried once to be one of those girls, easier to handle. I hope this gives me the courage not to do it again.
