  • why is here face look grease do you start with your face wet?

  • Somehow I feel that this whole "concealer needs to be one to two shades lighter" thing is going to fade out eventually, especially for dark-skinned women like me cuz it just ends up getting all reverse-racoony...

  • ive realized that in these Ford videos they always "over-moisturize" the models....I think theyre trying to make them look kind of like dolls...

  • I think its the lighting or maybe the camera or just too much makeup.I mean the secret to putting on makeup is to look natural. But u have to put 5 coats of everything to look natural,LOL

  • um..too much moisturiser?

  • They're sweting cause it's so hot there ;D

  • she should put mineral powder over the foundation to make her face flawless and NOT greasy!!!!

  • the model looks like she has just moisturised her face to the max :L

  • what the hell is wrong with the model?

  • that girl likes a barbie doll or something ahahhaha.

  • here face looks wet like she just smeared it with baby oil or something

  • thanks for the tips but the models face looks REALLY greasy.

  • radiance? *shrugs*

  • she looks like she has on too much cream lmfao...@likeablerain she does look like she is dipped in grease!! hahaha lol

  • what??? she obviously doesn't know what she's doing, you're always suppose to applay foundation before concealer.

  • umm youre supposed to put concealer on first, then foundation, then powder

  • no, if you put your foundation after you apply concealer you might swipe the consealer of.

  • hmm heres a crazy thought. dont put foundation over concealer.

  • Isn't her skin flawless anyhow?

  • She said the next step is powder. Did you not hear?

  • PLASTIC PLASTIC PLASTIC!!! LOL

  • Why is she so shiny?

  • why does the model look dipped in grease?

  • Omg, that model looks exactly like a barbie doll or a manequin!

  • Ew....her face is so greasy!! Ughhh not flawless.

  • so shiny, horrible

  • That girl's skin looks so smooth and clear!

okay maybe they make her shiny cus she's gonna model

    but insane clarity !! #_#

  • bare escentuals is the best makeup ever~ makes your skin appear completely flawless and no shine!

  • Who cares about the oil--She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my entire life!! D:)

  • she kinda looks fake

  • Why is her face so oily?

    Good video though(:

  • Maybe it's a moisturizer or a primer...

  • why is her face shiny?

    i mean

    wtf

  • yeah I agree. She's either very oily or the lighting is horrid.

  • She had probably just applied moisturizer to prep her skin for foundation and such.

  • wow.. they tell you to use concealer and foundation? thats such a waist of a video!

and somebody should give that girl a towel because her face looks so oily!

  • haha i agree

  • If she applied moisturizer - it must be oil-based. Her face wasn't dewy rather oily. Even after the application of powder to her face, it just lessened the shine. =)

    -Armand Félj

  • r u puttin oil in the face before????

  • Hey face looks like shes made outta plastic. But I guess its the moisturizer.

  • lmaooo true

  • is there a reason why shes literally glowing...

  • her face is really oily,

not very good to use models that have an oily face on make-up how to videos

  • shes not oily.. she mostirised before hand.

  • Is there something wrong with this video? The model is super....wet.... o.O

  • titihihihi lol! :)

  • she is so shiney.. she looks like one of those manakins you see at the mall.. haha

  • Jessica LiebeSKINd ..... she was destined to be a makeup artist ;)

  • wow, not even good.

  • The model needs some chine control gel :) Lol she looks like she has just been througha car-wash

  • Holy Crap...Jessica looks like Heather Matarazzo!

  • holy shit,

    oily much?

  • i know but MAN she got good skin Haha

  • hahahahahahahaha! yeah right???

  • 0:12

    1. Olive Oil

    2. Concealer

    3. Foundation

    4. Powder

    *Voila!

    nice video...

i'll be a college student next year so i think this is helpful...^^

  • Holy shit. If I ever saw someone that greasy in real life, I would give them a subscription to proactiv out of symathy.

  • why is her skin so oily? even after she put powder on, she still looks greasy..

  • y does her face look oily

  • Hey I really wanna know why her skin looked so.... shiny and glowy???

  • How do you know it was a peel lol, my face is like that right after moistriser too.

  • omgosh her skin looks like it hurts!

i'd say go easy on those facial peels...

    eghhh

  • i think the model had some sort of face peel beforehand. I have relatives who get face peels and that's what it does to your skin. I don't think her skin looked oily, i just think it's really really shiny haha due to some sort of facial peel.

  • Can someone please tell me what she has done with the models face, before she applied the concealer? The model's skin looks so... oily and shiny. What kind of product does that to your skin?

    Thanks.

  • The model does look oily, but if you listen the makeup artist says the "next" step is the powder.

  • ugh she was so shiny

should of caked on the foundation all over her face D:!

  • that model really needed the powder

  • wow...

  • EW the models skin looks so oily! It looks like she sweaty. Its nasty looking

  • uhh it looks like she just ran 79 miles...

  • agreed.

  • I can assure you it's not a myth.

It is actually the best way to get great skin.

Any scientist will tell you that the vitamins/minerals/proteins/fiber you eat affects the health of your skin/nail/hair while the cosmetics only do a temporary job as they can go under the initial layer of the skin but don't reach the underskin wich is the part that is active. Your upper layer is only cells that will live for a day, so the creams only work for a few hours. A healthy diet is the way to go.

  • Why Does Her Skiin Looks So Shiny ? I Mean It Looks Oiily And Like She's Been Sweatin... Ew.

  • i know i was thinking that the whole time i watched this!

  • same here, gross

  • nonsense. the brush is for profiting reason. use your hands is the best way and actually make up artists suggest this but they won't say it on youtube vids cuz they get paid to advertize the brushes/cosmetics.

  • It is alright to use your hands or fingers on yourself, but IF you are doing other people you should use a brush etc otherwise you are transferrring bacteria. I always used my hands and then began using brushes and to be honest I love the look I get with them. It is a personal preferance, but if doing other people it is best not to use your hands and use a clean brush

  • What I dislike about these videos is :

    1) The model already have perfect skin to begin with, so it's cheating.

    2) This did not tell us anything we didn't know. There are tons of youtubers who have longer and more helpful videos which gives detailed description and more advanced tips.

    3) I HATE it when people don't mention what products/brushes they used. That is a big sign of being unprofessional.

I will not be coming back to this useless channel.

  • that doesn't look flawless her face looks

like its gunked with makeup, and is oily.

  • That's not oil people! It's one of those beauty flash gels/balms to boost radiance and glow. The trend started from 2004 and sometimes they really overdo it.

  • lovely voice ^_^

  • Whoa!What the hell!Sirous oil problem!Get a dermotologist girl!

  • shit video

  • woaaa oil problems, serious ones!

  • wtf? Why was her face so shiny at the start?

  • lol...thats what i was thinkin too..+ oily

  • omg ya haha i was life wtf is wrong with her skin?!?! thats just nasty.

  • Idk this video didnt explain much but even it looks too fake

  • omg her face is so oily. this video fricking sucks... the model is prety either.

  • It is not oily the model has crystal radiance on her face ..I got it from lumen in (cvs) it is very good to perfect any skin tone and gives my face ultra sheer (its amazing for glowy finish).

  • why is the models face so dam greasy?

  • too much highlighter?

  • its cuz of the foundation.

but you can easly get rid of it with some loose powder.

    :D

  • her face was too shiny

    looks too fake

  • What if I cant find concealer lighter than my foundation? I cant get rid of blue circles under my eyes... I have enough problems trying to find foundation light enough ;)

  • try orange lipstick and then apply a normal concealer. orange cancels blue.

  • I'll try:)

  • i thought you put on the liquid foundation then concealor then powder to set it ?

  • she should have put loose powder over tht to absorb the shine from the moisturizer. esapecially in photography that finish will pick up and diffuse light particles makeing it worse. any1 knows tht..

  • YAY! a "pro makeup artist" teaching me contouring and technical ways of feeding/fixing a self esteem through materialistic ways!

    HEALTHY!

  • her skin is not oily. it's because of the moisturizer she has on. if you apply too much of that you can achieve that plastic look. i've done it before, it looks nice when the weather is nice and shining but if its cloudy it just makes your face look oily yea..

  • I think they mightve been going for that dewy look...but instead it just came out oily looking...=/

  • i think it's just the lighting or the camra. in real life i'm sure it wouldn't look like that

  • it's not face oil, it would look worse if it was. it's most likely moisturizer, since she has such nice skin and she can wear a lot of it. lots of moisturizer can add that plastic-looking sheen to the face. i don't recommend applying that much. :\

  • wow she has really nice skin but it is soo shiny and oily! shouldnt those models wash their face right before the video is shot???

all in all i didnt find that video helpful at all...

  • guys don't follow her tips

its too much make up dude

  • she is a Bobbi Brown girl... i can tell :) (im a creep, lmao)

  • can some one tell me why is her face sooooo sooo oily/shiny

  • that model's face looks so weird. very oily or wet, how strange..

  • is she wearing highlighter? bc her face is shiny but it doesnt really look oily..

  • Her skin already looks flawless! But her skin looks so oil o.O Maybe because of the lighting?

  • her face is so oily...

  • Her face is so shiny..

  • oh my gosh, her skin is BEAUTIFUL! she doesnt even NEED foundation and concealer! she has gorgeous skin! so jealous. but her skin is REALLY oily! :/

  • except her skin was already flawless.

  • shiney much?

  • greasy greasy fordmodel

  • she looks so oily

  • ew she looks too shiny lmao but shes pretty

  • some makeup artist put vaseline on the client first or just moisterizer .. but it's true - looks kinda icky

  • Why? Doesn't Vaseline clog pores?

  • i don't really know :S

  • on the vaseline container it says it doesn't clog pores, but... who knows?

  • It's not supposed too.

  • Her face is shinny at first because she moisturized her face before putting on makeup. Putting on makeup is like building a house, the base of building the house makes all the difference and that base is great moisturizer.

  • Hit the nail right on the head.

  • why was her face way shiny before they started i dont know she is pretty but i would do the shine on a diff model she is alreddy to shiny lol

  • shiny!!!!!!!

  • The "oily" look is good if there is a little less shine. But a shiny face can work - it bounces off light in the right places and covers flaws, at the same time it makes you look like you are not wearing makeup! (it avoids the "cakey and powdery" look!)

  • Thanks for sharing! I always used to put foundation on first, then concealer. it IS better the other way around.

  • It's an age old tradition. Concealer is just a really really concentrated foundation. It's used to cover up those unsightly dark marks, then the foundation blends it all together. Tsk tsk. Concelear ABOVE foundation....no no no.

  • yeah but what always seems to happen to me when I put on concealer first is, because i moisturize my skin right before, the foundation ends up looking patchy and dry in the places that I put the concealer. If i put the concealer on later, i can blend it really well into the foundation.

  • Oh. I see. What brand do you use honey?

  • safarigurl, are you using your fingers, or a brush? if youre using fingers, that may be your problem. also, if youre using cream concealer under powder foundation, it cause those patchy, dry spots, too. cream to cream, powder to powder is the rule, though translucent powder/pressed powder to set (over either cream or powder products) is an exception.

  • you are right. i use liquid foundation and creamy concealer. the thing is, the foundation will always be more fluid than the concealer, and any concealer underneath covered with even liquid foundation looks patchy on me. i guess maybe using face cream with the concealer (to make it look smooth and creamy) will help me achieve the perfect liquid consistency.

  • oh and by the way i use a brush, never fingers cuz they clog pores. its just that concealer is a concentrated form of foundation so its always drier.

  • Under her eyes looks OILY.....but IDK. It could be what "livesforthrill" said...
