The birthers have actually mostly moved on from the birth certificate. Now they claim that President Obama can never be a natural born citizen because his father was not a citizen. Actually everyone, If you read the document, it says "Certificate of Live Birth" not "Birth Certificate" due to the fact that Hawai`i is an occupied country that was forcibly annexed to the u.s. in 1893 without the consent of the people of the country. You can only annex with the consent of the people. Instead Congress made a "joint resolution" however, you can't make a joint resolution on another countries matters.

Both the US and Britain, having claim to the parents, have claim to the offspring. Take this hypothetical: A woman wanders accidentally across the US border, gives birth in the desert, picks up the kid and goes home. 20 years later, your view allows the US to draft him, quite legally under US and international law.

Actually, no. Every county has its own criteria for citizenship, but most do not hold to that standard.
And America is unusual in having full birth-rate citizenship for anybody born in its borders.
Many countries base citizenship on blood and not place of birth. For example, non-Japanese born in Japan are NOT Japanese citizens.

A law of Congress to be one of the supreme laws must be "made in pursuance thereof" and not in conflict with the Constitution. As I explained I have no clue what cointelpro agents are or even if they're real. I'm just informed. I'm not sure why Obama will not have an official commission investigate the Bush admin for war crimes because there is broad public support for such an effort. But any effort to launch a Congressional investigation is guaranteed to spark a fierce battle between the parties. With their deeds exposed Reps will have no choice but no fight back hard.

That' my guess. I am sure there are many reasons why Obama is not going a head. However there is a Senator (can't think of his name Leahy??) who wants an investigation. He was on MSNBC a couple months ago. I haven't heard anything since, so I really don't know.

President Obama stated throughout his campaign that he wanted to get our troops out of Iraq & a timeline was agreed to by Iraqi leaders. However we can't just move out -we must do this slowly to ensure the safety of our troops & the Iraqi people. At this time our troops are out of the major cities. Afghan is stronger now because our troops were withdrawn from there to Iraq -meanwhile, Al-Qaeda became stronger in numbers. Bush' wars have been costly, hard to defend, & hard to end.

I agree 100% Reps have no platform & are losing their base. So they resort to talking points until their viewers accept lies as facts. This is to cause division for voting purposes. Healthcare is Obama' baby but Reps are against it. IF Obama doesn't go over their heads & pass a Bill he' going to appear weak. In 2012 his opponents will use this potential failure as their platform. That's how they attack their opponents -never mind that they were against it -but no one can fix it but them

It is your subconscious slip that is showing. I see and hear a lot of criticism of the Obama administration and never have I heard anyone criticize him for being part black (6%). On the other hand I have seen his supporters completely sidestep the real issues being brought up and counter with ad hominem attacks and claims of "racism". When you inject the race card where it doesn't belong that makes you the racist, not those criticizing his policies or specific legal concerns.

Clear thinking people are going to believe it's racism because the attacks against Obama have been baseless. So why attack him?
