Et godt eksempel på hva en såkalt ekspertjury kan få til av elendighet. "Ring Ring" med Abba var selvsagt "folkets" valg dette året, men kom på andre plass. Neste år (1974) kom Waterloo!

This is the song which beat "Ring Ring" by Abba in the Swedish heats.

Exactly. In the Swedish European Song Contest ABBA came third with "Ring ring" 1973, but they won 1974 with "Waterloo", and they won Eurovision Song Contest with that song same year.
